Ascent to the Nordsternturm Panorama Terrace


The listed Nordsternturm in the Horst district was built in 1951/52. In 2009/2010, the winding tower was upgraded, extended and turned into a high point. The uppermost of 18 floors at a height of 83.5 metres now offers an unobstructed view of the park, the city and the district as a public visitor terrace.
Reduced tickets for pensioners, severely handicapped persons, welfare recipients, pupils and students can only be obtained on site on identification.

Opening hours: Mon-Thu and Sun 11am - 6pm; Fri + Sat 11am-5pm. Closed in January and February.
Depending on the weather, accessibility may be restricted for safety reasons, especially in autumn/winter.
