From the airport:
Take suburban line S8 heading towards Herrsching and leave at stop Marienplatz. Change to subway line U6 heading towards Garching Forschungszentrum/Fröttmaning and get off at stop Nordfriedhof. Leave the station opposite to the direction of travel, go right at the exit, and after 50 metres you will find the entrance to the Pullman Munich Hotel on the left-hand side of Fritz-Hommel-Weg pedestrian area.

From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof München):
Take a suburban train (lines S1 to S8) to Marienplatz stop. Change to subway line U6 heading towards Garching Forschungszentrum/Fröttmaning and leave at Nordfriedhof stop. Leave opposite to the direction of travel, go right at the exit. After 50 metres you will find the entrance to the Pullman Munich Hotel on the left-hand side of Fritz-Hommel-Weg pedestrian area.

"Dear Pullman Team, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share feedback on our recent stay. We were very much looking forward to our time at your hotel, but unfortunately, there were several aspects that did not meet the expectations we had for a 4-star property. 1. Room Quality: We booked an Executive Room, expecting a higher standard of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we noticed cobwebs on the ceiling, light mold stains in the shower, and dusty baseboards. Despite bringing this to the attention of the front desk in a friendly manner, these issues were not addressed during our stay. 2. Wellness Area: There were also some concerns in the sauna area. One of the showers was broken and sprayed water directly onto the ceiling, making it difficult to use. Additionally, used towels were often left around the sauna, and the area didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly. 3. Breakfast Service: While the breakfast selection itself was good, we were repeatedly informed—rather abruptly—10 to 15 minutes before closing time that the service would soon end. A more polite reminder would have made for a much more pleasant experience to start the day. We hope this feedback will help you improve the overall quality of service and cleanliness. We appreciated the hotel’s atmosphere and location, but we would expect the service and cleanliness to align with the high standards typically associated with a Pullman hotel during any future stay."

"Stayed here one night awaiting flight back to Australia. Location is very good, being a short walk from the tram station & airport express bus pick-up point. Check-in was uneventful - staff member was polite but business-like & formal, perhaps lacking a little 'welcoming' attitude. Our room was away from the elevator (as per my Accor profile) however in this hotel, being located away from the elevator meant that we were on the far side of the hotel, involving a significant walk back to the elevator - possibly the furthest we have ever been in hotel. Yes it was quiet but managing four large bags over that distance was a bit of an effort. Room was comfortable & well appointed, with a good shower & comfy bed. Breaky had a good selection. The bar was well stocked & the barman (from Finland) was very polite, engaging & very welcoming. Enjoyed having a chat with him. Would stay here again on a return trip."

"Overall its a good stay although there’s some minor issues like i’ve called several times asking for tissue and they answer okay but until check out nothing delivered. The welcome drink for the juice just standard because its not made from fresh juice. But beside that the rooms were comfy and there’s balcony which we like the most and also we love that there’s a bidet in the bathroom."

"The hotel was not worth its price. We used our suite night upgrade, but the suite was old and very dusty. It’s hard to believe that hotels still use fluffy carpets, which are unsuitable for rooms. I was sneezing all day because of the dust. When we checked in, the window was half-open, which we didn’t notice due to the curtains. The air conditioner was set to 20°C while the outside temperature was -3°C. Despite our efforts, we couldn’t make the room warm enough throughout our stay. The room was too large for the air conditioner to heat effectively, leaving us uncomfortably cold. Additionally, there was no remote control for the TV when we arrived. We had to request one, which was inconvenient. It has now been over five days since we checked out, and the hotel has still not released the authorization amount on my credit card, despite me having paid the full amount at check-out. This was a terrible experience, and I cannot recommend this hotel. I regularly stay at Accor hotels and have never encountered issues like this before."

"The stay was very good, all the accommodation and breakfast were great, but the desk communication and even the customer care center is very dissatisfying. Even if I payed in advance the hotel I was still charged 3 times more on my company card for the same stay. "Overall it was good. But one thing did affect my stay: When I checked in to the room, there were blood stains in my room, right at the entrance, near the bathroom door. I asked the 2 following morning to clean it. when I returned each night - it was still there. I would expect it to be clean, and if you can not do that - at least let me know that you tried and didn't manage to. "Beautiful hotel well managed, greeted by a hello by every member of staff you passed. Check in quick and easy even got an upgrade of room. Rooms were clean and warm. "Conveniently located hotel with good sized room. However let down by execution. Reception staff are borderline rude even by German standards. Slippers and bath robes are only provided to suite customers and this is a big surprise as even Mercure provides them. "I've unfortunately had multiple unpleasant experiences during my stays at your hotel. The front desk staff consistently lacks a service-oriented mindset, which I could potentially overlook. However, their unwillingness to assist with even basic inquiries is unacceptable. Given my past experiences with the check-in process, I took extra precautions this time. My personal assistant sent several emails in advance requesting a room with twin beds and clearly indicating my arrival time due to a scheduled meeting. Despite these efforts, there was a clear breakdown in communication between the online inquiry and the front desk. Upon check-in, the room was not prepared, we were assigned the wrong bed type, and it took multiple requests to rectify the situation."

"This is my second time this year (first time in Jan) to stay in Pullman Munich. This time round, I stayed from 23-29 August. My first night was with my cousin and we requested for a twin bed. Unfortunately, when we reached our room, it was a queen bed (formed with combining 2 single bed). We requested it to be split and we were informed that it will be done in the evening. When we went back to our hotel, it was not split and we called the receptionist. She explained that the housekeeping went up and said the bed could not be split. My cousin used to work in a hotel and he could tell that it was 2 single bed and explained that he is sure that it can be split. Marcelle, the receptionist who took our call told us that she will come up to take a look. When she came up, she realised it indeed can be split, however, she informed us that the housekeeping has left for the day (it was around 11pm) and she said that she did this before and she can help us with it. My cousin offered to help, but she said she can do it by herself as she has been trained before and professionally split our bed. We were overjoyed, because me and my cousin are of different gender and don't think it is appropriate to sleep on the same bed. Besides that, Marcelle also gave us some tips on where to go in Munich and answered some concerns and questions we had. She even prompt us to reach out to her at any time should we require help. Then, we realised that actually her shift has already ended when we asked if we are holding her back, and we realised that she actually helped us even though she has already knocked off. On my last day, she gave me a Munich magnet, and she said that each letter has a photo of the attractions in Munich and she hope that I can remember how beautiful the trip was with this magnet. I was so touched. I wanted to say, she is really a rare gem who goes extra miles for her guest. She is definitely an asset to your company and I will definitely choose to stay in pullman Munich again because of her great service!"

"Located very close to metro stop so easy to get around using public transport, but too far to walk anywhere. Nice room, small but serviceable bathroom with good shower. (we were given a double despite having booked a twin room, but bed was big and comfortable. ) Lack of coffee machine was soon sorted by lovely maintenance man. "The staff at the Pullman were great. They were attentive and friendly. The food was lovely. Housekeeping did a great job, there was no dust in the room, plenty of clean towels and bedding and the complimentary toiletries were full.   The rooms however are starting t. show their age. The rainfall shower was clogged and water came out in a trickle, there was mold in the shower. Scuffed walls and peeling paint along with dubious stains on the rug made the stay in the room less pleasant."

"Good, clean hotel. The staff were helpful and gave us a 1hr late checkout option as well. The rooms were good size too. however, some negatives: - although our checkin experience was good there was a lady at the front desk that kept rolling her eyes and sighing everytime we had a question - the AC wasn't enough and it was quite muggy/warm at times - the cleaning staff would turn off the AC after housekeeping even though we intentionally left it ON - the Hotels did not have any plates or cutlery for us to use in the room one night and the restaurant THEOS folks said they would charge us 2.50 Euros per set. This has NEVER happened to me in any hotels before. At least guests at the hotel should be allowed to use plates and cutlery without charges. This put us off quite a bit actually and even came off as a Cheap move by the hotel/restaurant"

"Good stay, I would recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues. Good quality & comfortable room, bed and shower room facilities. Friendly staff. The only reason that the rating is not a 10 is that upon my arrival at midday my room was ready, however I could only access the room early for a fee of EUR45. If my room is ready upon my arrival prior to the standard check in time, I have never been charged to access it by any other hotels (unless early check in has been pre-booked). A minor issue but as a regular traveller, this surprised me. All in all, I would stay here again and thank the team for a comfortable stay."

"I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel again and my experience was mixed, but mostly positive. The hotel is located in a convenient area, just a short walk to the Nordfriedhof subway station, which makes it easy to access the downtown area and attractions. There is a cafe nearby as well as a small grocery store which makes it easy to stock up on supplies. I always choose a room facing the courtyard because it's much quieter. It was roomy with a small patio and the standard features such as coffee maker and a small refrigerator. The room and bathroom were clean, but could use some updates.The dining options at the hotel were satisfactory, but not exceptional. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of items, but the quality of the food was average at best. I found myself wanting to explore other dining options in the area rather than dining at the hotel. Overall my stay at the Pullman was pleasant and I will return because of the rooms and convenient location. Staff is always friendly and helpful."

"My stay was as a result of being dissatisfied with the Sofitel earlier in the month. I have always chosen to stay at the Sofitel in Munich but was so disappointed in my 4 night stay that I cancelled and chose to stay at the Pullman. The room, the staff, the amenities could not be faulted which once upon a time used to be how I would rate the Sofitel. I am so glad I gave the Pullman a go because I will always choose to stay here now."
