Description

The parental holiday home, located on the upper edge of the village, directly on the larch forest (ten minutes walk to the cable car, with ski boots), was extended in 2015 an extra story and a stylish new apartment was created to modern standards, furnished with great attention to detail, with a wonderful view of the mountain, valley and glacier.

The living and dining room with an open kitchen is beautiful in its simplicity. The two bedrooms have double beds already made for you. In the bathroom with shower and toilet, you will also find the washing machine and tumbler.
The flat has underfloor heating, and a wood stove for cosy hours. TV, DVD player, DVDs, (internet) radio and free fast WIFI, board games and books are also available for our guests to use. On the beautiful balcony, you can enjoy eating, the mountain air and the Lötschental sun and view. You can roast sausages by the fire pit in the spacious garden.

In winter it is nice for alpine and Nordic skiing, snow hiking and sledging and in spring, summer and autumn you can hike, mountain bike and admire the beautiful landscape, flora and fauna.


In the village there is a grocery shop, bank, post office, cheese dairy, farm shop, mask carving workshop, a med. doctor and the tourist office.


We enjoy having direct contact with our guests and will answer your questions within 24 hours (also WhatsApp).

Conditions/extras

Minimum rent 3 nights. During the high season from Dec. 15 until Easter, we only let our holiday apartment weekwise (arrival on Saturday, Departure on Saturday)

Final cleaning 200 CHF (incl. kitchen, bathroom and bed linen).

Visitor's tax CHF 4.80/person/night; CHF 2.40/child/night will be charged in addition to the rent.

10% discount on the rental price for the second and further weeks.

Pets only on request to the landlord.
