In summer and autumn, the Lötschental is a hiking and mountain biking paradise for young and old alike. The Lötschental is part of the Jungfrau–Aletsch–Bietschhorn UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and is characterised not only by its spectacular mountains and glaciers but also by the unspoilt diversity of its alpine flora and fauna.
