Fondue Excursion

The Rigi Railways offer fondue fun in unusual places: for example, in the world's oldest electric rack-and-pinion railcar (built in 1911). In the heated "Car 6", the journey takes you by moonlight to Rigi Kulm, almost 1800 meters above sea level.

 

An aperitif is served during the ride up the mountain in an enchanting snowy landscape. ln the heated carriage, a cheerful fondue evening takes place, true to the motto: Indulgence à la 1911. A brilliant starry sky and twinkling lights in the valley form the perfect backdrop for a sensual and culinary flight of fancy. A coffee and the subsequent downhill ride round off this after-work occasion perfectly.
