Private tour of the oldest house of goldsmiths in the world
Description
It is documented that since 1620, goldsmiths and silversmiths have been practising their craft in the historical building at Neugasse 27. A brilliant tradition that is still carried on today by the second generation of the Lohri family. The house was reopened in 2016 in the Empire style after an extensive renovation in collaboration with the department of preservation of historical buildings in Zug.
On a tour of the house, you will learn more about its exciting history and architecture. You will also gain first-hand insight into the goldsmith tradition of Zug.
