Description

The apartment is located on a quiet mountain farm between Ötscher and Hochkar in Lunz am See, nestled in the meadows, forest and mountains of the Ybbstal Alps.

Large glass surfaces bring the landscape directly into the house, light falls over the bright wooden walls in the morning and the wood-burning stove crackles in the evening. Outside, a deer sometimes wanders past the edge of the forest. Inside, tea is brewed and it gets quiet without you having to do much. The guest house is part of a small organic farm in the Alpine Mostviertel region and has a deliberately simple design. Natural materials, selected works of art and plenty of peace and quiet instead of distractions.

The terrace offers a view over the meadows, behind the house is the wooden sauna with a view of the deer enclosure and the surrounding mountains. Afterwards, head to the swimming pond or simply walk barefoot through the grass back to the apartment.

The apartment offers space for up to four people and is particularly suitable for couples, small families or anyone looking for a few days away from everyday life. Two bedrooms, a spacious living room and the quiet location make it easy to stay longer than originally planned. The privacy is particularly pleasant: the apartment is located in a completely separate guest house. Terraces, entrances and windows are laid out in such a way that you can keep to yourself undisturbed.

The farm is run according to permaculture principles. There are bees, cats, a fish pond and fresh organic eggs, as long as the hens are not busy changing their feathers.

A cold stream with a small swimming area is just a few minutes away. And it gets really dark at night. So dark that the Milky Way is often visible to the naked eye.

You look up and automatically stay longer than planned.

Die Nächtigungstaxe ist im Preis nicht inkludiert und vor Ort zu begleichen. Ab Jänner 2026 beträgt die Taxe € 2,60.- pro Person (ab 15 Jahren) und Nacht. 

Stornierungen bis 14 Tage vor Anreise sind kostenfrei, Stornierungen zwischen 14-7 Tagen vor der Anreise werden mit 50% der Gesamtkosten berechnet, Stornierungen in den 7 Tagen vor der Anreise werden mit 100% der Gesamtkosten berechnet.
