22 modern and lovingly decorated single rooms wait for you as a temporary home. Many of the rooms have a splendid view overthe garden of the cathedral cloister: a place of contemplation and serenity in the heart of the city. The rooms are equipped with shower/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, Internet connection and W-Lan. All beds and the carpets are suitable for allergy sufferers.


A safe can be found in our wardrobes. Extra blankets or pillows can be provided upon request. Hygiene items you could get at our reception. The TV can receive 30 TV channels as well as 10 radio stations.

Burkardushaus, the newly-arranged Catholic, conference center is located directly next to the dome in the historic city center of Würzburg. The building from the fifties was renovated with care and style in recent years. Its particular location and the unique connection of a central yet quiet location surrounded by the city and the personal service characterize the Burkardushaus. 22 modern and lovingly decorated single rooms wait for you as a temporary home. Many of the rooms have a splendid view over the garden of the cathedral cloister: a place of contemplation and serenity in the heart of the city. 8 new and modern designed meeting rooms provide the framework for a successful event. You find a suitable ambience perfectly matching your needs, from conferences, seminars, meetings, further education over receptions and concerts (a new Steinway grand piano is available).All meeting rooms have natural light. Flipchart, pin walls/partitions, screen/projection, presentation case, video projector, laptop and mobile sound systems are available. The Kardinal-Döpfner-room and meeting rooms 2 and 3 are equipped with an induction loop. Two perfectly equipped dining rooms offer you and your guests the oppurtunity and space for meetings combined with excellent food. Our kitchen team distinguishes itself by creativity and proficiency. We spoil you with seasonal, regional, fresh cuisine – preferably organic. Even our cakes and pastries are home made. More informations about us on request! Information/service

Breakfast Monday till Friday from 7.00 a.m. until 9.00 a.m., on weekend and holidays until 10.00 a.m. Lunch from 12.00 p.m. until 2.00 p.m. Dinner from 6.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Upon agreement every meal can be arranged at other times. Please informe us about allergies, incompatibilities and special diets in time. Bike Rental: We are in possession of two bicycles you can borrow at our reception.

Arrival description

Rail Traveller To the railway station take the tram 1, 3 or 5, leaving regulary from station "Dom". The Burkardushaus is in about 15 minutes walking distance from the railway station.
