Brückenschoppen for Group

From the meeting point in front of the Tourist Information Office in the Falkenhaus on the Upper Market, the tour passes the Gothic Marienkapelle (St. Mary's Chapel), the Town Hall and the Vierröhrenbrunnen (Four-Tube Fountain) to the Old Main Bridge. It is one of the most important connecting routes in the city and has always brought people from all over the world to and through Würzburg. For about 300 years, 12 bridge statues have adorned the niches on both sides: they would like to be, but not all of them are holy. The tradition of Brückenschoppen (drinking wine on the bridge) is much younger.

With a glass of Franconian wine, which we invite you to, you can enjoy the incomparable atmosphere at Würzburg's most convival meeting place. With views of the Fortress Marienberg, the Cathedral, the Käppele (Church Chapel) and the "Würzburg Stein" (vineyard "Würzburg Stone") you will learn many interesting details about Würzburg's history and can wonderfully prepare for an enjoyable stay in Würzburg.

During the Würzburg Christmas Market period, from November 28th to December 23rd, groups can choose between Franconian wine and Franconian mulled wine.

Broken wine glasses will be charged 5,- € each on-site.

From November 28th to December 23rd 2025 you can choose between Franconian wine and Franconian mulled wine.

ATTENTION: This choice only applies to the entire group. Everyone must choose between Franconian wine OR mulled wine!

Deviating from the general terms and conditions, the following cancellation policy applies to this tour: 

From booking up to 48 hours before the tour date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the price (€ 8.95) will be charged for each canceled ticket.

From 48 hours before the tour date, a cancellation fee of 80% of the price (€ 14,32) will be charged for each canceled ticket.
