The Museum für Franken at the Fortress Marienberg offers 5400 m² of exhibition space. It is home to a number of important pieces of art from Franconian artists and craftmen. This includes the largest selection of works by the world-renowned scultpor Tilman Riemenschneider, who lived and worked in Würzburg.
Opening times of the Museum für Franken:
November - March daily 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
April - October daily 10.00 am to 5.00 p.m.
from Tuesday to Sunday. The museum is closed on Monday.
Entrance fees per person: 5,00 EUR
Groups with minimum 15 adults: 4,00 EUR
Children (0 up to 17 years): free entrance
Information: The entrance fees are not inlcuded in the fare for the guide and must be paid additionally.
