Fortress Marienberg & Museum für Franken (2h)

The tour at the Fortress Marienberg - past Marienkirche Church and the temple above the deep well - ends up at the Fürstengarten (open April to October ) with a splendid view across Würzburg. The guided tour concludes with a visit to the Museum für Franken, home to a world-renowned collection of works by Tilman Riemenschneider. Also on display are outdoor scultpures from the Veitshöchheim Rococo Gardens, as well as witnesses of Franconian folk art and wine culture.

Opening times of the Museum für Franken:
November - March daily 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
April - October daily 10.00 am to 5.00 p.m.
from Tuesday to Sunday. The Museum is closed on Monday.

Groups with minimum 15 adults: 4,00 EUR
Children (0 up to 17 years): free entrance
