Description

Our lovingly furnished vacation apartment (50 sqm) for up to 4 people is located on the outskirts of Waging am See, directly on the edge of the forest, idyllically situated above Waging. It was extensively renovated in 2023 and invites you to a carefree vacation at the warmest bathing lake in Upper Bavaria. Children are also very welcome. The apartment extends over two floors. On the first floor it has a cozy and fully equipped kitchen with coffee pad machine, a tastefully furnished living room with sofa bed and flat screen TV and a separate bathroom with walk-in shower and towel dryer. Upstairs, a comfortable bedroom with direct access to another bathroom and a dining room await you. The balcony overlooks a natural flower meadow with old fruit trees. The apartment also has a terrace in the courtyard with a view of the greenery, where socializing will certainly not go amiss. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.

Environment description

If you love peace and nature, our holiday flat is just right for you. While you are winding down the day on the terrace, it may well happen that a rabbit suddenly hops past you or a deer steals apples from the orchard. At the same time, the market town of Waging am See is only a few minutes' walk away (700 m). The centre of the village with its many small shops, cafés and inns is ideal for a stroll. The large lido is also only two and a half kilometres away. Numerous hiking trails and signposted cycle paths are easily accessible from our house. Relax on your own terrace, cool off in the Kneipp facility or take advantage of the proximity to Salzburg (30 km) and Traunstein (10 km) for shopping and strolling. Lake Chiemsee is 22 kilometres away. You can easily park your car in front of the house.

Arrival Description

From the A8 Munich-Salzburg freeway, take the Traunstein/Siegsdorf exit and drive in the direction of Traunstein. After the big traffic circle near Traunstein, go through the Ettendorfer Tunnel. Immediately afterwards take the exit towards Waging am See. After a good 9 kilometers you will find our vacation apartment on the right hand side on a slight hill.
