Experience the Elbe Valley - small Elbe Valley Line

On the short Elbe Valley Line you will explore the Elbe Valley between Pillnitz and Bad Schandau. On this excursion, the ship departs Pirna in the morning and travels upriver to the Bad Schandau National Park Center. After 30 minutes, the boat travels downstream through the entire Elbe Valley to Pillnitz Palace. Again, after half an hour, you return to Pirna.

A super offer for real steam fans and all those who can't decide - because this tour offers a lot: impressive rock formations in Saxon Switzerland, idyllic Elbe meadows, the romantic Pillnitz Castle and the royal baroque city of Dresden.

station Pirna
Pirna, about 20 kilometers from Dresden, is called "the gateway to Saxon Switzerland".

In the center of Pirna, a tour of the time-honored town is worthwhile. You will reach the town hall. It is located in the middle of the market square and combines stylistic elements from five centuries. Behind the houses on the east side of the market you will find the massive town church of St. Mary, which was built in the first half of the 16th century in place of an older church. You can still see its steep roof from afar while cruising on the Elbe. Today, the Dominican monastery houses the town museum.
