Description

A house to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature. In the middle of the village and yet secluded. At night with a view of the stars. During the day with corners of sun or shade. The renovated old winegrower's house with new extension is at ground level and faces onto a sunny inner courtyard. The vacation home is spacious and offers enough room for families or a group of people who want to spend a vacation or retreat together. The house consists of three bedrooms (for two people each), a large empty room and a kitchen-living room as well as a bathroom and two separate toilets.

A shady walnut tree and a pear tree grow in the large, bright inner courtyard. There is room for the dining table on the terrace as well as a table under the walnut tree, deckchairs and plenty of open space. The former vegetable garden has many wild corners and a fireplace transform the house into a small oasis.

The house is particularly suitable for families with children and for people who are looking for a shared place of silence and meditation. Up to six people can sleep in the three bedrooms, each with a double bed, and up to two more people can sleep in the empty room (on mattresses on the floor). The rooms are plastered with clay plaster, which creates a pleasant indoor climate even in the hot summer months. The inner courtyard, the house and large parts of the garden are hidden from view, while at the same time you have a view of a meadow orchard.

There are two show gardens in the garden village of Schiltern, both within walking distance: The show garden of the Arche Noah association and the Kittenberger adventure gardens. The BrauSchneider brewery is also located in the village. Several wine taverns in the village also invite you to linger. In nearby Langenlois you will find the local wine shop Ursin Haus - where e-bikes can also be rented, the Loisium wine experience world and the restaurant in the Loisium Hotel.

The Kronseeg reservoir can be reached on foot in 30-45 minutes, by bike in 10 minutes and by car in 5 minutes.

A playground and a funcord are right next to our garden - the children don't have to cross the road to get there. From the village you can go on beautiful hikes and bike tours to the neighboring Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German), the Waldviertel and Krems.

Minimum stay/ prices

The prices are per night, incl. 10% VAT and for bookings up to 6 persons:

High season (July & August + school vacations)

• min. 6 nights
• € 242,- per night

Low season

• min. 4 nights
• € 176,- per night

+ € 150,- incl. VAT final cleaning once

+ € 2,50 local tax per adult (from 15 years) per night

An advance payment of 20% and a deposit of € 220,- will be charged after booking. The rest of the payment is due after check-in (or according to the following cancellation conditions).

We are also happy to rent the house as a seminar house on a daily basis:

• € 350,- excl. 20% VAT.

Cancellation & refund

Full refunds for cancelations up to 30 days before check-in.

Guests who have booked less than 30 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund for cancellations up to 14 days before the check-in date.

Thereafter, a 50% refund will be issued up to 7 days prior to check-in. Thereafter, no refund will be issued.

Conditions/extras

Eine Vorauszahlung von 20% sowie eine Kaution von € 220,- werden nach Buchung in Rechnung gestellt.
Die restliche Zahlung erfolgt nach dem Check-in (bzw. nach den folgenden Stornierungsbedingungen).

Vollständige Rückerstattung für Stornierungen bis 30 Tage vor dem Check-in. Gäste, die weniger als 30 Tage vor dem Check-in-Datum gebucht haben, erhalten eine vollständige Rückerstattung bei Stornierungen bis 14 Tage vor dem Check-in-Datum. Danach wird bis 7 Tage vor dem Check-in eine Rückerstattung in Höhe von 50% ausgegeben. Anschließend wird keine Rückerstattung mehr ausgegeben.
