The "Westphalian Versaille" in Nordkirchen (approx. 11 km), Westerwinkel Castle in Herbern (approx. 7 km) and Vischering Castle in Lüdinghausen (approx. 15 km) are worthwhile excursion destinations. The city of Münster (approx. 25 km) also offers many possibilities (zoo, Friedenssaal, museums, etc.). Meadows, fields and forests are also within easy reach, despite the central location.
Ascheberg is located in southern Münsterland, has a population of approx. 15,200 and is easily accessible via the A1 and A43 motorways. Many Pättkes (cycle paths) invite you to cycle through the Davert.
