Description
The greeting "Welcome" has been extended to the guests of our half-timbered house for over 200 years. The offer and the demands were certainly simpler back then than they are today. But over all these years, the pursuit of quality and, above all, the satisfaction of our guests have been an incentive for constant progress. Our rooms - hotel rooms, restaurant, hallway, "Buntebock" pub and the "Backstage" area - have been renovated and lovingly furnished time and again.
Even for the previous generations in the house, catering was always a part of culture and lifestyle. The meat and sausages came from our own butchery, the herbs and vegetables from our own garden and even a small wine shop with a bottling plant.
We are committed to this tradition. Quality is our top priority. We focus on regional and seasonal products. We present the variety of fresh products and the dishes created from them in our culinary calendar.
Our guest rooms are furnished with light-coloured pine furniture. They have a shower, WC, hairdryer and flat screens with digital television technology. With extra beds, we have a maximum capacity of 13 beds in our small hotel.
The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the 100 Castles Route and the Roman-Lippe Route and is an ideal location for cyclists. The landscape, which is characterised by the Lippe valley, is extremely gentle. Fields alternate with meadows and provide a wonderful setting for a cycle tour. Soest and Lippstadt are popular destinations for excursions, as is Maximilian Park in Hamm. Hovestadt Castle is approx. 8 km away. A visit to the beautiful park is worthwhile at any time of year.
