The Sailer Keller is one of the large, historic inns in Traunstein. A cozy guest room, the spacious multifunctional hall and the magnificent beer garden testify to Bavarian inn culture. In former times, the ice cellars of the Hofbräuhaus Traunstein were located there for cooling the beer in summer. For the cultivated hospitality nine comfortable guest rooms were developed on the second floor. The bright, friendly and above all spacious rooms cordially invite vacationers and business travelers. Pope Benedict XVI celebrated his first Mass with his brother Georg in Traunstein on Sunday, July 8, 1951, after which they invited guests to the Sailerkeller for the first Mass.
