Bad Reichenhall is only 4 km and Berchtesgaden 28 km away from the Gassner flat and Salzburg can be reached by car after 14 km, or even more comfortably by S-Bahn or bus, which stop very close by. A bakery and various other shops are only a few minutes' walk away.

Arrival Description
By car From Munich you can reach Piding im Rupertiwinkel (Berchtesgadener Land) via the motorway Munich-Salzburg (A 8) exit Bad Reichenhall, from Austria via the motorway A1 (from the east) or A10 (from the south), exit Bad Reichenhall. Attention, vignettes are compulsory in Austria! Arriving by train Piding has its own railway station on the Freilassing-Berchtesgaden line. Trains of the Berchtesgadener Land Bahn commute on this route, which continue as an S-Bahn to Salzburg. The rail network is also connected to long-distance traffic via the Freilassing junction.
