Directions for public transport
Stuttgart main station. From there take the suburban train S1, S2, S3 (direction: Kirchheim/Teck, Schorndorf, Backnang) to the stop Bad Cannstatt.
From there follow the tracks Cannstatter Wasen. After the underpass turn left. You'll find the hostel's entrance on the left side after the next crossing.
Directions
From direction München (Munich) (A8):
Exit Wendlingen. Turn to B313 and B10 direction Stuttgart. Follow the signs for Stadion/Neckarpark. Turn left before the Schleyer-Halle into the Mercedesstraße. After ca. 700m turn right in the Elwertstraße. You´ll find the youth hostel on your left hand side.
From direction Karlsruhe (A8) and Singen (A81):
Turn to A831 direction Stuttgart City at the Stuttgarter cross. This will lead automatically to the B14. Follow the B14 through the city centre up to the Wilhelma. From there follow the tracks for Stadion/Neckarpark. At the Cannstatter Wasen turn left into Elwertstraße.
From direction Heilbronn (A81):
Exit Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Then take the B10 in direction of Stadion/Neckarpark. At the Cannstatter Wasen turn left into Elwertstraße.

Prices 2024:
Bed and breakfast including bed linen costs € 38.80 up to and including the age of 26 and € 42.80 for families aged 27 and over.
In a single room there is a surcharge of € 15.00 per night, in a twin room € 7.50 per person and night.
Children up to 2 years stay free of charge. For children between the ages of 3 and 11, bed and breakfast including bed linen costs € 24.80.

Membership of the DJH or an affiliated association is a prerequisite for overnight stays. Please remember to present your membership card at check-in.

Your DJH membership costs only € 7 per year (up to and including 26 years). (June to the end of November: € 3.50)
Guests aged 27 and over** and families* pay € 22.50 per year for DJH membership (June to the end of November: € 11.25)

** Married couples and cohabiting couples with the same address.
If you are not resident in Germany, you must apply for membership in your country, purchase an International Annual Membership on site at a price of € 18.00 or alternatively a daily membership at a price of € 3.50 per person per night.

From the airport by suburban train: The lines S2 and S3 go directly to the station Bad Cannstatt.
