Our idyllic mountain farm is situated at an altitude of 840 metres at the foot of the Kehlstein, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Berchtesgaden Alps. Nestled amidst unspoiled nature, lush meadows, and majestic mountain peaks, it offers an exceptional sense of peace, privacy, and relaxation. With no residential developments or busy roads in the immediate vicinity, you can enjoy a truly tranquil holiday from the very first day of your stay. On our working dairy farm, you can see cows and calves grazing in the fields surrounding the property or resting in the barn. During our daily barn hours, guests are welcome to take a closer look and experience farm life firsthand.

Our farm is nestled in the heart of the stunning Berchtesgaden Alps, offering the perfect blend of peace, nature, and outdoor activities. Surrounded by meadows, forests, and majestic mountain peaks, it is an ideal place to relax and unwind. Numerous hiking and walking trails start right at our doorstep, while popular attractions such as Königssee, the Jenner cable car, the Eagle’s Nest, and Berchtesgaden National Park are just a short drive away. The historic town centre of Berchtesgaden, with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, can be reached within minutes. In winter, guests can enjoy nearby ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, and scenic winter hiking routes. At an altitude of 840 metres, our farm offers breathtaking mountain views and a tranquil setting, while providing an excellent base for exploring the highlights of the Berchtesgadener Land.

Arrival Description
Arrival – Easy and Convenient Access Our Kranvogllehen Holiday Farm not only offers a spectacular panoramic setting, but is also easy to reach by both car and public transport. By Car Via the A8 motorway between Munich and Salzburg, you can conveniently reach our holiday region by taking the Bad Reichenhall exit. From there, follow the well-developed B20 federal road directly towards Berchtesgaden. At the roundabout near Berchtesgaden railway station, follow the signs towards Königssee. After approximately 600 metres, turn left onto Vorderbrandstraße and continue towards Faselsberg. Follow Vorderbrandstraße to house number 57, where you will already see our sign, “Urlaubshof Kranvogllehen.” Continue along the access road to the very end – and you have arrived. Alternatively, simply enter “Kranvogllehen” into Google Maps for convenient navigation directly to our property. For a stress-free arrival, complimentary parking is available directly at the house. By Train and Bus Guests travelling by public transport can reach Berchtesgaden railway station either by train from Munich with a connection in Freilassing, or by bus from Salzburg. From Berchtesgaden station, you can continue your journey by taxi or by using the Watzmobil on-demand shuttle service, which will take you directly to our access road (stop no. 2089).
