Description

Our house is located in a quiet, central location in the district of Oberschönau in Schönau a. Königssee. Bus stop, 2 bakeries, butcher's store, 2 restaurants, doctor's office, mountain guide's office and newspaper store can be reached comfortably in 1 minute walking time. Wonderful hiking trails start directly at the house. A small veterinary practice is located directly in the house. Königssee, Jennerbahn and the international artificial ice- bobsleigh- and toboggan run "Lotto Bayern Eisarena" are reachable in 5 minutes driving time, as well as the entrance to the national park Berchtesgaden. Shopping possibilities, numerous restaurants and the train station, as well as the Watzmann-Therme, ice skating rink and the historic market Berchtesgaden with cinema, royal castle and museum of local history can also be reached in a few minutes driving time. A 10 km cross-country ski trail starts directly behind our house. 2 toboggan slopes and a ski lift are also nearby. 4 other skiing areas can be reached within a few minutes drive. Only 30 kilometers away is the Austrian cultural capital Salzburg. A parking lot is available directly at the house. We offer our guests free WLAN.

The mentioned prices are plus spa tax. This is currently EUR 3.10 for adults, EUR 1.55 for children/youth from 7 to 16 years and EUR 0.00 for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay (subject to change). Baby travel cot and baby high chair available free of charge on request. Wood for fireplace can be purchased. After prior consultation, the travel price can also be transferred in advance.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall (the last exit before the Austrian border). If you continue to Salzburg/Austria on the freeway, please note the vignette obligation!!! From Bad Reichenhall on the B 20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden. You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen. At the traffic circle exit Bischofswiesen take the first exit and drive in the direction of Schönau/Ramsau. After about 3 kilometers you will reach the second traffic circle. There you take the first exit in the direction of Ramsau. At the next junction turn left to Schönau a. Königssee and after about 1 km, at the next intersection, turn left again. Now you drive straight ahead. 50 meters after Gasthaus Bodner turn right into Krennstraße. The second house on the right side is our Landhaus Weindl.Salzburg Airport is only 30 kilometers away from Schönau a. Königssee.
