The quiet yet central location makes our apartment an ideal starting point for numerous mountain hikes, walking tours, and a wide range of leisure activities in the region. Shops, restaurants, recreational facilities, and the tourist information center can all be reached conveniently within a 10 to 15-minute walk. A special highlight is the spacious southeast-facing balcony loggia, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of nature and breathtaking mountain views throughout the day. Ideal Location for Active Holidays and Relaxation The quiet yet central location of our holiday apartment is the perfect starting point for numerous mountain hikes and walking tours in the Berchtesgaden Alps National Park. A bus stop, various shopping facilities, and an outdoor swimming pool can be reached conveniently within about a 10-minute walk. Many hiking trails start directly at the house and lead you to the mountain huts and alpine pastures of the surrounding mountains. During the winter months, you will find cross-country skiing trails, winter hiking paths, and the Jenner ski touring and sledding area in the immediate vicinity. The center of Schönau am Königssee, with its Kneipp facility and salt graduation tower, is also within easy walking distance. Further leisure activities include the Watzmann Thermal Spa and the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine, both offering memorable experiences for visitors of all ages.

Visitor's Tax (Kurbeitrag) The rates quoted are exclusive of the visitor's tax. The visitor's tax is EUR3.10 for adults, EUR1.55 for children and teenagers aged 7 up to and including 16 years, and EUR0.00 for children aged 0 to 6 years, per person and per night of stay. (Subject to change) Arrival and Departure The holiday apartment is available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest.

Arrival Description

By car coming from the freeway A8, exit Bad Reichenhall (When continuing VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) out over the B 20 direction Berchtesgaden. Pass through the market town of Berchtesgaden in the direction of the train station. At the station square, take the traffic circle exit in the direction of Königssee. From there, take the turnoff to the right to Unterstein. Go through Unterstein, past the church, straight on until you reach the Schornbad open-air swimming pool. At the outdoor pool Schornbad turn right into the one-way street. Turn left there until the crossroads at the adventure playground, up towards Grünstein, always straight on. Take the last street on the left. The 2nd house on the right is your vacation destination.
