Our house Artenreitwinkl with vacation apartments for 2 to 4 persons is located at the foot of the Grünstein in Schönau a. Königssee - quiet and yet central. The large garden with sunbathing lawn and barbecue area invites you to linger and relax. In the Alps National Park you can enjoy the enchanting mountain world. Ideal starting point for multi-day tours and hut hikes. The Watzmann and the Jenner are very popular destinations. In just 20 minutes walk you can reach the beautiful Königssee and the boat ride to the popular pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä. Also in winter the skiing area at the Jenner promises pure fun! Ideal for families are the newly developed downhill slopes. On 60 km of cleared winter hiking trails and numerous cross-country ski trails you can enjoy the clear mountain air.In just ten minutes walk you can reach the center of Schönau am Königssee, a grocery store, butcher and a bakery. Right near our house you will find a bus stop. Numerous restaurants with local and traditional but also international cuisine provide pure pleasure! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in Schönau am Königssee. Free W-Lan in the whole house.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the train station Berchtesgaden.From there take the exit to Königssee, at the end of the town turn right down Untersteinerstraße. Follow Untersteinerstraße and cross the center of Schönau am Königssee. After the EDEKA market (on the right) turn right and drive up a small hill into Waldhauserstraße. Follow Waldhauserstraße and turn left after the pharmacy into Artenreitring. Follow Artenreitring and turn right into Artenreitweg. At the next possibility turn left into Anton-Adner-Straße. At the end of the street keep left and you will reach Bienenweg.
