Description

Welcome to the Alpine National Park Berchtesgaden. Our house is quietly and yet centrally located in the climatic health resort Schönau am Königssee. In only five minutes you can walk to the center of Schönau am Königssee where you will find the Haus des Gastes, graduation house with Kneipp facility, shopping facilities and various restaurants. A bus stop is also in the immediate vicinity. After a short walk of about 25 minutes you can reach the picturesque Königssee with the famous Echo and the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä as well as the Jenner, which is a popular destination for mountain hikers in summer and the largest ski area in the Berchtesgadener Land in winter. A few minutes walk from our house is in winter a cross-country ski trail that runs through the entire municipal area.

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3.10 euros for adults, 1.55 euros for children/youth from 7 to 16 years of age and 0.00 euros for children from 0 - 6 years per person and day of stay. (subject to change) Sauna use for a fee.

Arrival Description

You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the villages of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the train station Berchtesgaden.From there take the exit to Königssee on the B20, at the end of the village turn right down into Untersteinerstraße. You are now in the municipal area of Schönau am Königssee. Drive approx. 500 m. You are now in the Unterstein district. Drive past the church.After 100m turn left down into Graf Arco Straße.
