Description

Stay at the highest year-round inhabited place in Ruhpolding! The Steinberg-Alm is located 1000 m above sea level and is surrounded by alpine meadows and forests. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains as well as into the Ruhpolding valley. For hiking enthusiasts, there are almost unlimited possibilities right outside the front door. Our lovingly furnished vacation apartments offer you a lot of comfort. Towels, bed linen and final cleaning are included in the price. Dogs are welcome! Except for vacation apartment SOPHIA. We ask for your understanding that only 1 dog is allowed per apartment (EMMA or HEIDI).In winter there are opportunities for ski tours, snowshoeing and alpine skiing nearby. 

Your advantage: We are a partner company of the Chiemgau Card
On your arrival you will receive the Chiemgau Card, with which you can enjoy numerous free offers in and around Ruhpolding. Among other things, you have access to mountain railways, ski lifts and adventure pools as well as various museums and guided hikes. You can also hire bikes free of charge and use public transport such as the regional buses and the Bavarian regional railway between Ruhpolding and Traunstein. So you can experience the region to the full and at the same time be surprised by the many free offers. We will be happy to send you further information and the detailed terms of use on request.

The prices quoted do not include the tourist tax applicable during your stay. This is 2.90 Euro per adult (aged 16 and over) per night and 1.70 Euro per child aged 6-15 per night. No tourist tax is charged for children aged 0 - 5 years.

Arrival Description

Coming from the freeway Munich - Salzburg take the exit Traunstein/Siegsdorf and follow the signs on the main road towards Ruhpolding. After about 8 km you will reach the entrance to Ruhpolding. Directly after the town sign (opposite the gas station) turn right into Maiergschwendter Str and follow the road for about 1 km until you reach a fork, where you turn right towards Steinberg-Alm / Bacherwinkl. Follow the road straight on up the mountain until you reach our Alm.
