Located in the neighbouring village of Groißenbach, this cosy one-room flat is furnished like in grandmother's time. The small kitchen, including a dining area, is equipped with two hotplates, a refrigerator, a small freezer, a coffee maker and a toaster and thus offers everything you need. In the spacious living room you can make yourself comfortable on the corner bench or on the comfortable TV armchair in the evenings and let your soul dangle. The room is also equipped with a TV and a large wardrobe, which offers sufficient storage space. The large double bed has found its place in an alcove and invites you to marvel at the stylish antique farmhouse paintings on the wardrobe. The flat also has its own balcony, which tempts you to enjoy the view of the local mountain. Despite its close-to-nature location, the flat offers perfect accessibility and invites you to go hiking and walking in the beautiful river and forest area. So you can enjoy the view of the Kaisergebirge and the Unterberg from one of the countless hiking trails, or from the cross-country ski run at the beautiful Lofer. The centre of Reit im Winkl, as well as some restaurants and the supermarket are also within easy walking distance. The ski lift in the Winkelmoos/Steinplatte ski area is also only a few kilometres away and can also be reached by bus from Blindau. We look forward to your visit and wish you a relaxing holiday!

Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. Arrival Description

By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the "Inntaldreieck" and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest train station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich Airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg Airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
