Description

The 85 m2 flat is located on the 2nd floor of the house "St. Sebastian" in the district of Groißenbach. It was taken over by us in 2013, renovated and furnished in a modern style. Two bedrooms, each with a double bed, offer space for 4 people. The fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, toaster...) and a dining area are integrated in the spacious living room. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub including shower, washbasin and toilet. The south-facing balcony offers an unobstructed view of Lofer below, the west-facing balcony offers a view of the centre of Reit im Winkl and the "Zahmen Kaiser". W-LAN can be used free of charge. Coin-operated washing machine and dryer as well as a storage room for skis and bicycles are available in the communal cellar. The bus stop for the trip to Seegatterl (Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte valley station) is right outside the door. Opposite you will also find a Penny market, drinks market, tennis and squash courts as well as an entrance to the cross-country skiing network. The golf course can be reached in about 5 minutes by car, the Walchsee in about 15 minutes. We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy other free services such as free travel on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR1.00 contribution towards costs).

Climate Station Reit im Winkl According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic station" is awarded to places "whose air and climate, in the opinion of an expert, have favourable characteristics for recreation and health". Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has since repeatedly fulfilled the requirements for the certificate through its own efforts. First of all, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests in the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate region. The meteorological character is largely determined by the conditions, i.e. the influence of mountain ranges and valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively ensure that we retain good mountain air with natural heat or extensive bus offers.

Arrival Description

Coming from the A8, turn left into Entfeldener Straße (towards Ruhpolding) after the Reit im Winkl town sign. After approx. 600 m at the T-junction turn right into the street "Am Waldbahnhof". The house "St. Sebastian" is on the left side opposite the Penny supermarket. Coming from Oberaudorf/Walchsee, turn right in Reit im Winkl at the town hall square (after the "Skihütte") into Weitseestraße, which leads into the street "Am Waldbahnhof" after leaving the town. The house "St. Sebastian" is located on the right side opposite the Penny market.
