The terrace extends over the entire side of the house with a beautiful view of the ski area Unterberg Hoch-Kössen and the Kaisergebirge. In summer you can watch the paragliders doing their flights at the Unterberg. And in winter you can watch the cross-country skiers doing their rounds on the trails nearby. You can reach the bedroom via the spiral staircase in the vacation apartment. Our house "Sonnwies" is situated in a very quiet location on the outskirts of Reit im Winkl. The village centre is only a 5-minute walk away, and restaurants and shops can be reached quickly without a car. The 5 holiday flats for up to 4 people are freshly renovated and invite you with rural elegance to sunny, relaxed holiday pleasure. All flats have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, bathroom/WC with hairdryer and fully equipped kitchens (some with oven and dishwasher). From all balconies you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama and the sun in peace and comfort. For your wellness and "time out" there is a spacious Finnish sauna, as well as a Physiotherm infrared cabin with relaxation room ready for you. (For a fee) Towels and cosy bathrobes are of course also provided. Nature lovers and "outdoor freaks" will get their money's worth here. The entrance to the hiking and cross-country skiing network starts right outside the front door. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. Arrival Description

By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest railway station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
