Slightly elevated towards the valley floor, you have a wonderful view of the countryside. The access to the hiking and biking trail network is from the house entrance. The cross-country skiing trail and Benzeck lifts are in the immediate vicinity of the house. The entrance to the large skiing area Winklmoos-Alm-Steinplatte can be reached in 8 minutes by car or ski bus. You are in the pretty district of Blindau. This guarantees you absolute peace and quiet. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee. We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. About the host

Kevin Davis kam aus den Vereinigten Staaten nach Bayern, um erst seiner Frau Ina, dann seinen Kindern Sophia, Basti und Emilia und jetzt unserem Haus im schönen Reit im Winkl seinen Namen zu geben. Unterstützt von Ina's Eltern Markus und Silvia, erhält dieses Haus seinen Charakter durch drei Generationen von Deutschen und Amerikanern. Sie lieben es, Ski zu fahren und zu wandern und ein kaltes Bier am warmen Feuer zu trinken, aber vor allem genießen sie die Menschen. Die Familie Davis kann es kaum erwarten, ihr kleines Stückchen Himmel mit Euch zu teilen!

Arrival Description

Drive out of Reit im Winkl on Weitseestr. for approx. 1 km in the direction of Seegatterl/Ruhpolding. At the second sharp left-hand bend, turn right into the junction for Blindau. Now drive straight on and you will pass through the district of Blindau on the direct way to Klausenbergweg. Turn left into the first street and reach "Am Dürrach". The second house on the right is your destination, "Haus Davis" Am Dürrach 10.
