Our comfortably furnished Landhaus Pröchel is located on the western outskirts of the climatic health resort Reit im Winkl in the beautiful Chiemgau. In approx. 5 - 10 minutes on foot you can reach the centre of the village with shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. Two holiday flats furnished in a rural style await you in a non-smoking house. They are equipped with all amenities, such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, telephone and hairdryer. Of course, bed linen and towels are also provided. If you don't want to do without your laptop or smartphone during your holiday, WLAN is available throughout the house.... For a good start in the morning, you can take advantage of a bread roll service. Winter guests start their cross-country skiing tours directly in front of the house, the ski bus stop is in the immediate vicinity. We are also happy to provide you with sledges. Summer guests can also start their activities such as hiking, walking and cycling directly from the house. This also applies to golfers, who can reach the cross-border golf course in no time with our in-house golf cart and enjoy their round of golf. We are very happy to have children. We like dogs, and if you would like to bring your dog with you we ask for prior arrangement. We would be delighted to welcome you personally as our guest.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description

By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest railway station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
