Our cosy holiday home, lovingly furnished in country house style, is located on a wonderfully quiet south-facing slope at the entrance to the village for your most beautiful days of the year. From the balcony of your holiday flat you have a view of the unique mountain and ski village of Reit im Winkl, embedded in a magnificent mountain panorama. From Haus Kunz it is only a few steps to countless hiking trails, daily groomed cross-country ski runs and the ski slopes in the Blindau district of Reit im Winkl. Shopping facilities and refreshments in traditional country inns with their beer gardens, as well as the bus stop to the Winklmoos-Steinplatte skiing and hiking area and the free local bus, are only a few minutes' walk away. A warm welcome from the Kunz family.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
