The house is located directly at the Kurpark, quiet and yet central. You can reach all the leisure and shopping facilities of our beautiful village in just a few minutes on foot. The flats have fully equipped kitchens with microwave. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner rental company/business of the Reit im Winkl Swimming Card. This gives you the opportunity to receive additional free services in addition to our own services, such as free admission to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool, and the east shore and lake promenade at Walchsee. We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy other free services such as free travel on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR1.00 contribution towards costs). You have an ideal starting point for beautiful hikes and reach the cross-country skiing network as well as the bus departure to the Winklmoosalm in about three minutes on foot. Environment description

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather events. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

About the host

1999 durfte ich von meinen Eltern das Haus Heimfriede übernehmen. Seit über 80 Jahren werden bei uns Gäste herzlich aufgenommen. Ich freue mich sehr, dass ich diese Tradition im Sinne meiner Eltern und Großeltern fortführen darf.

Arrival Description

Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left towards Grassau - Marquartstein and from there towards Reit im Winkl. In the centre in front of Hotel Almrausch turn right into Schwimmbadstr. 3, Ferienwohnhaus Heimfriede.
