Welcome to the guesthouse Obertanner ! Reit im Winkl is always worth a visit - whether summer or winter. Enjoy your holiday in our family-run guesthouse in an idyllic, sunny location with comfortable, lovingly furnished holiday flats decorated in country house style. Only about 10 minutes walk to the village centre. Enjoy a wonderful mountain view on our garden terrace with a large sunbathing and play area as well as a sandpit for our little guests. Wonderful hiking trails start right outside the front door and inspire you to explore the surrounding area in beautiful nature. On sunny days, the Reit im Winkl swimming pool with the largest water slide in the Chiemgau invites you to have fun in the cool water. If you prefer natural surroundings, don't miss out on visiting the three bathing lakes, which can be reached in 5 minutes by car, or spending a day at the Lofer beach, which is right next to the house. Cross-country skiing trails and hiking paths are in the immediate vicinity.

Luftkurort Reit im Winkl Laut Wikipedia wird das Prädikat Luftkurort an "Ortschaften vergeben, deren Luft und Klima laut einem Gutachten Eigenschaften aufweisen, die für Erholung und Gesundheit förderlich sind. Reit im Winkl wurde 1956 zum Luftkurort ernannt und hat seitdem die Voraussetzungen für das Gutachten durch bemühen immer wieder erfüllt. Zum einen die Höhenlage, die dafür sorgt, dass die Sommerhitze gemäßigt und die Nächte angenehm kühl bleiben. Der Ort ist umgeben von ausgedehnten Bergwäldern der Chiemgauer Alpen und ist zum Großklima dem Klimabezirk „Bayerische Alpen“ zuzurechnen. Der Witterungscharakter wird entscheidend durch die Gegebenheiten, das heißt durch den Einfluss der Gebirgszüge und der Taleinschnitte auf das Wettergeschehen, bestimmt.Neben den natürlichen Voraussetzungen für gute Luft kümmern wir uns aktiv mit der Naturwärme oder reichlich Bus-Angeboten darum, dass uns die gute Bergluft erhalten bleibt.

Arrival Description

Coming from the Bernau motorway in the direction of Reit im Winkl, past the tourist information office, turn left at the Huber electrical shop into the short connecting road and then immediately left again at the end of the road into Weitseestr. (direction Ruhpolding), follow this road for approx. 350 m and then turn right into Loferaustr.
