Located in the picturesque holiday paradise of Reit im Winkl, the Hotel Bichlhof offers individual and family hospitality. Our hotel is located between the 18-hole golf course and the centre of Reit im Winkel. Both can be reached in five to ten minutes on foot. The rooms, mostly in Bavarian style, are equipped with balcony or terrace, shower/WC, satellite TV, minibar, room safe, hairdryer and clock radio. In addition, four family rooms (double room with separate bedroom for 1-2 children) are available. Furthermore, we offer our guests an indoor swimming pool with counter-current system, solarium, sauna and a lounge for social gatherings. In our cosy restaurant with non-smoking area and separate Tyrolean Stüberl (suitable for families and small groups), you can choose between à la carte dishes and/or enjoy the large gourmet buffet with hearty delicacies, delicious specialities, crispy salads and refined dishes during the season. If you would like to enjoy a quiet and relaxing evening after a strenuous day of cross-country skiing or hiking, or if you would like to prevent the threat of sore muscles, enjoy a classic partial or full body massage. If you have any musculoskeletal complaints, our physiotherapist is at your disposal. You can carry out a personal training programme tailored to your needs under her guidance, or have your complaints treated within the framework of physiotherapy (physical therapy). Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. Motorway Munich Salzburg A8, exit Bernau or Grabenstätt to Reit im Winkl approx. 30 km. Take the train to Prien am Chiemsee station. Good RVO bus connection according to the valid timetable to Reit im Winkl. By prior arrangement, a possible pick-up from Prien am Chiemsee station is possible.
