Whether on foot or by bike, your vacation starts right outside the front door. Ideal starting point for leisurely family hikes or challenging high mountain tours. Free parking space at the house. Easy access to excursion destinations on foot, by bike or bus. Bakeries, restaurants, bus stop and village center are within walking distance. Special feature: Tour tips from the mountain guide, massage or physiotherapy available on request in the house. We are happy to provide advice and assistance to make your stay a special experience.

Environment description

Das Haus Bergheimat liegt am Ortsrand von Ramsau, in einer ruhigen Siedlung und dirket an der Ramsauer Ache. Durch die Lage im Tal sind Wanderungen, Berg- und Radtouren ohne Auto in verschiedene Richtungen möglich: Ein gemütlicher Spaziergang zur berühmten Kirche St. Sebastian, eine Wanderung ins Wimbachtal oder zum Hintersee, eine Bergtour auf den Toten Mann oder alpine Hochtour auf den Watzmann. Ebenso Rennrad- oder Mountainbike-Liebhaber kommen auf ihre Kosten.

Arrival Description

By car: Take the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway to the Siegsdorf-Traunstein exit, then continue on the B306 towards Berchtesgaden. At Inzell, follow the German Alpine Road to Weißbach and Unterjettenberg, then take the B305 past Gasthaus Wachterl and Gasthof Hindenburglinde in the center of Ramsau. At the roundabout, head towards Berchtesgaden. After 300 meters, turn right over the bridge onto Reschenweg, turn left and continue to the second house on the left. Welcome to Haus Bergheimat! By train and bus: Take the train via Freilassing to Berchtesgaden and continue from the main station with the direct bus line 846 towards Ramsau. After only a 10-minute ride, get off at the "Altes Forsthaus" stop. Cross the street on foot, go over the bridge into Reschenweg, stay on the street, turn left, and go to the second house on the left (2 minutes walking time). Welcome to Haus Bergheimat!
