Haus Waldrast is a family-run holiday home with four holiday flats in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden. Our house is situated in the ‘Im Tal’ district and offers an ideal base for a holiday in the Berchtesgadener Land region and the surrounding mountains. You can stay with us in one of four individually furnished holiday flats: Almrausch, Bergblick, Edelweiß or Enzian. Depending on the flat, they can accommodate between 2 and 4 people . This makes Haus Waldrast ideal for couples, families and anyone who would like to spend their holiday independently in their own holiday flat . Four holiday flats for your holiday in Ramsau Our holiday flats vary in size, layout and amenities. You can choose from flats with a balcony or terrace, as well as separate bedrooms and their own kitchens or kitchen areas. The ‘Edelweiß’ holiday flat, at 90 m², is our largest and can accommodate 1 to 4 people. The ‘Bergblick’ holiday flat measures 60 m² and is also suitable for up to 4 people. ‘Almrausch’ and ‘Enzian’ each offer 55 m² of living space and can accommodate 2 to 3 people. This means you can choose the holiday flat that best suits your personal holiday preferences. Holidays in Ramsau and the Berchtesgadener Land From here, you can explore the region’s famous mountain and natural landscapes. Ramsau is a good starting point for walks and excursions in the Berchtesgadener Land. Destinations such as the Hintersee and the Berchtesgaden.Even those who like to spend their holidays being active will find plenty of opportunities around Ramsau for hiking, mountaineering and cycling. Time to relax. After a day in the mountains, you can unwind. The house has a garden and various areas which are available to our guests during their stay. Dogs are, of course, welcome here. The charge is 15 per night. A family-run business with a history: Haus Waldrast has been family-owned for several generations. Katarina and Josef Maier built the house in 1948. Initially, it served as the base for a haulage business. From 1975, the building was converted into a guesthouse offering breakfast, and by 1977 it had been extended to include additional guest rooms. From 1984 to 2015, Irmgard and Josef Maier ran the guesthouse. In 2015, Kerstin and Josef Maier Jr. took over the family business. As part of this, the former guest rooms were renovated and converted into holiday flats. Today, the Maier family welcomes their guests in four holiday flats, thus continuing the history of the Haus Waldrast in Ramsau. Environment description
Our vacation apartments are located in a quiet, central valley location. Spa park, brine bath, restaurants, shopping facilities and bus stop are within 3 minutes walking distance. Our new wellness area with infrared cabin is available to our guests for a small fee.
About the host
In the 3rd generation we, Kerstin and Josef Maier jun. with our children, run our guesthouse and hope to offer something for every taste. You can expect free parking, free WLAN, a children's playground, a wellness area with infrared cabin home trainer and book corner as well as participation in the Vital Partner program. We will be happy to give you tips for your hikes or advise you on other matters. In winter, borrow our toboggans and explore the numerous toboggan runs. In addition, there is now the possibility to rent e-bikes for a fee!

The above prices are plus spa tax of 3,10 Euro for adults, 1,55 Euro for children/youth from 7 to 16 years old and 0,00 Euro for children from 0 - 6 years old per person and day of stay. (subject to change) Animals allowed, per animal Euro 8,00 per day (without food).
Arrival Description
Freeway Munich- Salzburg to exit Siegsdorf/Traunstein, continue on the B 306 direction Berchtesgaden, via Inzell, Weißbach to Unterjettenberg, from there on the B 305 via Gasthaus Wachterl to Ramsau Dorf. After the Haus des Gastes after about 400m on the left side.
