From the house you can reach hiking trails, riding and golf courses, as well as the village centre in just a few minutes on foot. Reit im Winkl is characterised by guaranteed snow and many hours of sunshine. From the house you can reach winter hiking trails, cross-country skiing tracks, toboggan slope and the ski bus to the Winklmoos-Alm-Steinplatte skiing area. The flat is furnished to a very high standard, modern and with great attention to detail. On chilly days, you can heat up the accompanying sauna and the cosy wood-burning stove.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort

According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description

Once in Reit im Winkl, drive in the direction of Austria - Kössen. Directly opposite the festival hall and the fire brigade, turn into Ahornstrasse. Stay on the road and after 150 mtrs. turn right into Weinleiten. The penultimate house on the left is the Artesana holiday flat.
