Our personally run holiday home is about a five-minute walk from the centre of the village and impresses with a wonderful unobstructed view over wide meadows to the Kaiser Mountains. In a quiet sunny location between the Bavarian and Tyrolean Alps, it offers guests all the amenities they could wish for during the most beautiful weeks of the year. If you are looking for a holiday flat in Reit im Winkl in the Chiemgau with a cosy, homely atmosphere and appreciate a magnificent mountain view, you will feel at home in our well-kept guesthouse. In addition, warm yourself by the cosy tiled stove in your two-room flat and enjoy the dreamlike mountain panorama. In our small wellness oasis you can relax healthily after a strenuous day in the Physiotherm infrared cabin with coloured light, aroma and sound bath. Bathrobes are provided free of charge upon request. The hostess is a trained herbalist as well as a nature and landscape guide and will be happy to take you on one of her exciting and informative herb walks in and around Reit im Winkl. We live and love nature with its diversity, local customs, Bavarian tradition with its music and singing - simply "Bavarian gmiatlich".Behind the house, cross-country skiing enthusiasts have direct access to the well-maintained cross-country skiing network as well as to the walking and hiking trails. The bus stop for excursions as well as for the free shuttle bus to the valley station of the 8-seater gondola lift in Seegatterl is located near the house.

Reit im Winkl climatic health resort
According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather events.In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description
By car to Reit im Winkl: Coming from Munich on the A 8 motorway, take the Grabenstätt exit. From there take the Bundesstraße 305 (German Alpine Road) to Reit im Winkl (27km). The Inntal motorway offers an alternative. Turn off shortly before Rosenheim at the Inntaldreieck and drive to the Oberaudorf exit. From there, take the Austrian federal road 172 to Reit im Winkl. Coming from Salzburg, take the motorway (A 8) to the Inzell-Ruhpolding exit and continue via Ruhpolding to Reit im Winkl. By train to Reit im Winkl: The nearest railway station is in Prien am Chiemsee. From here you have the best bus connections (RVO bus line 9505) to Reit im Winkl. By plane: Munich airport is approx. 140 km and Salzburg airport approx. 70 km from Reit im Winkl.
