The large, wrap-around balcony facing south and west offers an unobstructed view of the Kaisergebirge mountains. The spacious 2-room family apartment Unterberg on the 1st floor, has a size of about 47 m². At the cozy dining area in the living room you can enjoy the self-prepared meals. The kitchenette is equipped with dishwasher and microwave. Allergy-friendly, high-quality real wood parquet flooring has been laid throughout the apartment. In the living room the sofa can be folded out and offers space for an adult or 2 children. Bed linen and towels are sufficiently available and will be changed according to your wishes. For the television evening you have a DVD player as well as a television set in the living room and bedroom. The CD radio system completes the equipment. In our bathrooms you will not get cold feet! This is ensured by the underfloor heating, which is heated all year round.

The bathroom was completely renovated in May 2022 and now offers you even more feel-good comfort.

Since June 1, 2022 our Bergwinkl guests have the possibility to charge their electric vehicles directly at our house (for a fee). Exclusively for our Bergwinkl guests there are now 2 car e-charging points and a total of 9 charging points for e-bikes available.

The flooring throughout the apartment is high-quality parquet which is suitable for allergy sufferers. In the living room the pull out sofa can accommodate two more persons (children). There is an adequate supply of bed linen and towels which will be changed according to your wishes. For your TV viewing pleasure, a DVD player as well as a 32" inch flat screen TV, and a 26" inch TV in the bedroom are available. You won't get cold feet in our bathrooms! Year-round floor heating takes care of that.

Our Bergwinkl guests can charge their electric vehicles right here at the guesthouse. We offer 2 electric car charging points for the exclusive use of our guests (charges apply), along with 9 complimentary e-bike charging points.

Just a two-minute walk from the village centre, yet wonderfully peaceful, Bergwinkl is set in the beautiful Alpine resort of Reit im Winkl in the Chiemgau region of Bavaria. With such a central location, restaurants, shops and leisure activities are all within easy walking distance. Cross-country ski trails, hiking paths, traditional Bavarian theatre, village festivals, ski and hiking buses, a pushchair-friendly play trail, the outdoor swimming pool and cycling routes are all just a short stroll away. Simply leave your car behind and explore.

All our fully equipped apartments have spacious balconies with lovely mountain views. Our Hausberg one-bedroom apartment also features a bathtub — perfect for a relaxing soak. Or why not choose our especially cosy Giebelstüberl studio apartment?

If you enjoy an active holiday, you can take advantage of additional benefits offered in partnership with Reit im Winkl. As a partner guesthouse of the Benzeck ski lifts, we offer our guests access to extra benefits alongside our own amenities, including use of the Benzeck lifts in winter for a contribution of just €1.

Bergwinkl is heated by “Naturwärme”, Reit im Winkl’s environmentally friendly biomass district heating network. This community scheme saves around three million litres of heating oil each year, and we are pleased to play our part.

Take advantage of the benefits of the inclusive card, free services, and discounts even on the day of arrival (e.g., free ride up to the Winklmoos-Alm, participation in guided hikes, etc.). Please ask your landlord for the inclusive card upon arrival!

Visitor's tax per person/night throughout the year
