"We drove down to Stuttgart from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking in the hotel can get competitive at times but there is free parking in the street in front of the hotel too. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. I have to single out Michael who was working the front desk while we were there, he was especially funny, professional, friendly and kind. He went out of his way to arrange an itinerary for places me and the family could visit while we were in town. Michael is an asset to the business.... he definitely helped make our stay great."

"Their policy regarding cancellations and rescheduling is pretty strict and they are not willing to accommodate an emergency change of date (contacted a week before the stay). I understand this is the policy and the rate, but the difference with a good service is to understand and help your guests. Furthermore, they have not informed them that we could not go, so I was being called the previous day at 2200 why I was not doing the checkin. Lack of internal comms. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not stay again."

"I liked the location of the hotel (close to the U-Bahn and the relevant addresses for my staying), the very friendly staff, the well-thought-out design, the quality of the equipment of the room, the price. Especially I liked the welcoming procedure. The lady from the reception explained everything to me very cleary and handed out additional information in written form. That was very helpful/informative and I felt very welcome. I also liked the "key" and the no-check-out-procedure. The breakfast room would need some noise reducing elements, maybe also some plants. It looks too cold. It was very loud there when there were families with kids or groups. I was happy when I got a free parking. However, I would prefer a guaranteed parking space. The Autohof is a good solution, though, if there are not free spaces in front of the hotel. Some guests were too loud. I could hear them through the room walls and the door, and probably also the doors slamming due to the closing device is a bit too strong. It is almost like an "earthquake" if doors close to frequently one after the other. Otherwise the advantage of the room was that it was big enough to feel ok. I had enough space to put my stuff out (in the bathroom and in the main room). I also liked the "working" table so I could work on my computer without having to "reorganise" my entire room (like in some hotels)."

"We keep coming back to the Neckarhafen B&B because it’s predictably friendly, well-kept and comfortable. The catering is good, the coffee is good, and the beds are supportive. The WiFi works for mobile phones but not laptops, due to DNS mistakes by the service provider. Mobiles work as they get their environment from the mobile service, not the hotel. This is the only issue with B&B, all else is excellent."

"Although a little out of the city it's easily accessible on the trams. The rooms were clean and spacious but a little bit on the basic side. Breakfast was very basic but ok.Would be good if check in was a little bit more flexible as there was a lot of people attending football matches and had to wait for 3pm check in and was told we couldn't leave luggage unless we were back before 10pm. Not ideal for attending events"

"We were visiting because we were going to the euros The location was quite far out but the tramline service was good which meant that was not an issue. The hotel rooms were clean and well serviced . However the rooms were small and there was little storage for clothes . The beds were also small but they were comfortable . Unfortunately there was a building site next to us so we had to keep the windows closed for the noise but the air conditioning was good and meant we could control the room temperature The staff were friendly and helpful."

"The Neckarhafen B&B 'does what it says on the tin'; it is an honest, excellently-run B&B with enthusiastic staff. Greeting is always friendly, rooms are always clean, service is always excellent. The only issue that stands out is the WiFi; it doesn't work for Apple laptops, due to a DNS peculiarity. That's ignored by mobile phones but is not handled well by larger devices. Fix that and there wouldn't be any criticism at all."

"Used the automatic check-in process and loved it. The entire hotel and rooms are super clean. We were able to use the parking easily although it seems to fill up at nights. Nice and warm personnel. The vending machine is well sorted and the location is great, interesting places around plus it is well connected, it's easy to get to the train station. WiFi worked great everywhere. Almost a perfect stay, I think something in the room triggered allergies but it was very clean nevertheless."

"I stayed for just one night, while passing Stuttgart on a long drive. I checked in around 11 pm and left at 9 am without having breakfast. For my purpose, the hotel and the single-bed room I booked were perfectly fine. The possibility for late check-in and no checkout made for a smooth experience. Free parking directly in front of the hotel is great but limited. I was lucky to get the last available spot, otherwise I would've had to find other parking (which is apparently available close by but at a small fee). The room was well-sized for a short stay, clean and modern. The vibe of the room was a bit dull, however, which probably is to be expected when it comes to modern budget rooms. The bed was surprisingly large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but felt very sterile. Not least because of the one available light being extremely bright and white. At night and in the morning, I would've appreciated a more eye-pleasing option. There was also no hook or bar for the towels, so I had to hang them over the shower-curtain rod. All in all, I had a good stay and the hotel served my purpose. I might have been less satisfied had I stayed for two or more nights. The slight dullness of the room and the rather sterile bathroom simply don't emanate the warmth and comfort I would expect during a longer stay."

"Was fine for a place to sleep and shower but was very budget. Could have been cleaner under the bed and the bathroom fan was caked in dust. Couldn't sort out the Aircon so was very hot. Pillows were so thin they were nonexistent. Cleaners kept trying to come in on checkout day before we had checked out and didn't speak English, so didn't understand. Might use again as affordable, but just expect very budget."

"We like the Hotel B&B at S-Neckarhafen; it's close to our friends, it 'does what it says on the can', and it's very good value for money. I like that it's dependable. The air-con is capable of being controlled to perfection, the bed is comfortable, the place is quiet and the breakfasts are tasty and sufficient. The staff are friendly and take pains to be appropriately helpful (as needed), and it's a pleasusre to return and find familiar faces. We'll be back...."

"Someone in the hotel gave my reservation to another person, so when I got into the hotel very late at night I couldn't use the automatic check-in machine and had to call the emergency nunber. They didn't realized they already gave my room to someone else, so they send me the code to that room, just to find out there was a lady staying that got very scarrd because all of the sudden two unknown men opened the door of her room. I had to talk to the emergency number again, and after a good amount of time I was given that lady's reservation, even getting a mail with her name on it."
