Right next door, in friendship and close proximity to the European metropolis of Strasbourg. You can reach Strasbourg in approx. 15 minutes via various Rhine bridges, e.g. between Altenheim and Goldscheuer. A visit to Colmar takes about an hour. It is therefore not surprising that this sun-drenched region is one of the most popular vacation regions in southern Germany. Even Freiburg, Basel, Stuttgart, Heidelberg and Lake Constance are not far from the vacation apartment. Paris, Luxembourg and Burgundy (Bourgogne) can also be reached by train in one day or over a weekend.
