Our two-family house is located in Waidhofen an der Ybbs. The Ybbs shapes the image of Waidhofen and divides the town. Our house is located on the right bank, the district Zell of the so-called sun island. We are nestled between the Buchenberg and the Arzberg.  On foot you can reach the city center in about 15 minutes. Waidhofen has not only many towers but also bridges. From which you have a wonderful view of the eizigartige Ybbsuferlandschaft. Also the cube high above the Rohtschild castle welcomes you at the entrance to the city and is worth a visit. The night watchmen, who guide guests through the town center in historical garb, will gladly tell you about the old stories.
Waidhofen is urban and rural, combining excellent high culture with folk culture.
The possibilities in the sports sector are just as varied. In summer, it is possible to jump into the clear Ybbs river, as well as from the ten-meter tower in the Parkbad. At the Buchenberg, the local mountain of Waidhofner, you can relax and experience action.
We are also an ideal starting point for many beautiful hiking and mountain tours in the Ybbstaler Alps.
The Ybbstal cycle path passes almost by our house. Many great cycling or mountain bike trails are located in our area.

The winter you spend with us according to the motto: With snow Pistengaudi jucheee...but also without snow is `s ok in Traudis vacation apartment! The skiing areas Forsteralm (7 km away) and Königsberg (21 km away) are in close proximity. Night skiing is possible on the Forsteram. Many cross-country ski trails are in the immediate vicinity. Hochkar and Ötscher can be reached in about 1 hour driving time. Winter hiking in the Buchenberg Nature Park is one way to experience winter gently. The Ybbstaler Solebad is only about a half hour drive away.
