In culinary terms, you can choose between the hotel's own "Hirschenwirt" with down-to-earth dishes from grandma's cookbook and our sun terrace with a view of the Mariazell basilica. The "Platzhirsch" café-bar also invites you to sit together and enjoy a glass of Styrian wine or an original Mariazell stomach liqueur.
The small, fine wellness area with sauna, sanarium and Kneipp pool also has an indoor pool with Wildalpen high spring water pool and a water temperature of 24° C. You can also use an infrared cabin for an extra charge.
For receptions, seminars and celebrations of all kinds, there are 5 function rooms on 3 levels with a capacity of up to 450 people. Some of these can also be combined.

Public transport - easy & convenient

Travel in comfort with the Mariazell Railway. From Mariazell train station, you can reach your accommodation in around 1,300 m on foot or in just a few minutes by cab. Your hosts will be happy to help you organize the transfer.
 

Conditions/extras

The city tax is not included in the price and must be paid in cash on site (credit card payment is not possible for this tax). As of January 2026, the tax is €2.50 per person (aged 15 and over) per night and will increase to €2.80 on December 1, 2026.

Cancellations made up to 14 days before arrival are free of charge; cancellations between 14 and 7 days before arrival are charged at 50% of the total cost; cancellations within 7 days of arrival are charged at 100% of the total cost.
