Direkt hinter dem Haus beginnen die grünen Lippeauen. Nur wenige Meter entfernt verlaufen die Radwege der 100 Schlösser Route und der Römer-Lippe-Route. Über die Radwege gelangen Sie auch zum herrlichen Schloss Hovestadt (ca. 1 km). Ein Spaziergang durch die schöne Parkanlage lohnt sich zu jeder Jahreszeit.
Mit dem Fahrrad und dem Auto sind zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell und einfach zu erreichen. Unternehmen Sie einen Ausflug nach Münster, Lippstadt oder Soest, wandern Sie im Sauerland oder durchfahren Sie die "Beckumer Berge" mit dem Fahrrad. Besonders schön ist ein Ausflug zum Möhnesee mit seinen waldreichen Ufern.
