"Compliments go to the staff at breakfast, very attentive, and professional service. I appreciated that my allergies where noted and that I was taken care of. THANK YOU. This said, unfortunately, we can only rate our stay as 'average' not because of the hotel facilities, location, or rooms but rather because of the staff at front desk/reception, not friendly at all, quite rude actually and unmotivated. A simple smile and greetings when entering or leaving the building would suffice and make any guest welcome. Also, our room was okay, spacious and comfortable beds. The shower is a little outdated and we had some kind of extractor in the room which made a really bad noise from 10am - 9pm and on occassions whiffs of unpleasant smells too. It was not the bathroom extractor as that one only went on when you switched the light."

"Location of the hotel was good, and rooms were clean and sufficient size. The staff were really friendly. However, the AC doesn’t work so the room was extremely hot and opening the window also isn’t the best choice because the street outside is really loud and they don’t have earplugs. The price was much too high as well for what you got."

"The staff was very welcoming, always someone was on reception and ready to help, even late at night. The check-in, made previously on the All.com website, took a minute. Good location, excellent transport communication with the main station - 10 minutes on a tram, which often walks and on a schedule. Around there are a lot of opportunities to eat and drink, a supermarket. At night, noisy with open windows. However, the street is wide, and dark curtains, a quiet air conditioner and good sound insulation make it possible to sleep normally. Breakfast is very good, including omelet, bacon, sausages, fruits, yogurts, etc. The room has a bottle of water and sets of tea and coffee, a comfortable sofa in front of the TV. The bathroom has a bath, soap, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. Every day, cleaning and changing towels was carried out, although we stopped at only 2 nights. A large mirror in the hallway. The bed is spacious, moderately soft and comfortable. The corridor was a little sad - the cabinet door opens, overlapping the door to the bathroom, the safe did not work. The bath with the shower is a little crowded, it is easy to spill water to the floor."

"We had a lovely stay at The Mercure Hotel Muenchen am Olympiapark. We checked in online and then on arrival check in was simple enough. Although the receptionist who served us was quite rude as another member of staff approached her which she conversed with and she kept us waiting and was already mid sentence in a conversation with us! The other receptionist noticed our delay and took over. He was more professional and very informative too. The hotel was right beside a tram stop so very handy to get into the centre. A shop was across the road and a lovely little bakery was situated beside the hotel. Very convenient as we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. The rooms were very modern and clean. Loved the artwork and decor. Our room was at the end of a hallway on 1st floor and so very quiet. It had a window overlooking a small leafy courtyard. Would recommend this hotel if taking a short break in Munich."

"At check in, I waited a long time for anyone to come to the desk. There was no bell/number to call. When I got checked in, the person was quite rude. I was given a room on a floor with no lift. So I had to take the lift as high as possible and then drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs to my floor. The room was ok. There was a vent that made a noisy sound (on and off) through the night. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong. The WiFi didn’t work in my room. However, the room was very clean and the housekeeping team did a very good job each day turning it around. Overall, I would not stay here again."

"All would have been nice but the wifi on the 4th floor was not working during our entire stay despite me and my partner mentioning it at the reception at separate instances. We were assured it will be fixed, it wasn't. We were given alternative wifi connection which however wasn't available (our room was probably too far in the corner to catch this wifi). The whole situation was very inconvenient and I was very lucky I did not have any urgent business related issue to resolve."

"I always choose this hotel for my stay in Munich, usually I receive good attention but this time since the reception the guy at front desk was not attentive and nice, he made a mistake and charge me more, when I asked for clarification his attitude was to nagging me and saying it was due breakfast when my reservation was already including breakfast, he finally understood the mistake and refund the money. At the room there was hand soap and not enough shampoo and body wash, I advise about this to the same guy at the front desk and he said he was going to provide it but this never happened during my 5 day satay. I asked if possible for a two bed room he said it was not possible as the locks for those rooms were going to be changed, and I understood however during my stay I was shocked that the lock on my room was changed, meaning that strange people had access to my room where my belongings were, not to mention that the two bed bedroom was denied to my due this reason. The duvet blanket cover was teared with a big hole, something that has never happened to me on any of the Accor hotels I've stayed. The experience with breakfast was also very upsetting, on Sunday they run off food and lots of people was very annoyed by this, the management was unable to solve this situation in a positive way and there was no apology offered to any of the guests. The following days the offering on food was also low and I know it because I sated on this hotel in August and my experience was completely different. The last day I had breakfast the food was not renewed or brought warm bread or sausages and then we saw when staff was going to eat and they brought food for themselves, but warm and more, so imagine my shock when I am the customer and there is no enough quality food for us but the employees decide to bring it for themselves. I think you need to pay attention to who is running this hotel and customer service must urgently be improved."

"The new bed type was comfy and soft enough. The front clerk was very welcoming and friendly. the only downside: the rooms could have been cleaned better with a HEPA13 vacuum cleaner so that the carpet contains less dust mite remnants. I could feel it a bit in connection to my allergy."

"It is a superior 3-Star Superior Hotel near the Olympiapark. It has historical architecture, and modern interior. Easy accessible by metro and tram from the airport and by tram from Munich central train station. It is almost 220 meters from Tram station lines 20 and 20 LEONRODPLATZ square. Professional receptionist and hotel staff facilitated my stay. Room size is okay with modern furniture, large screen TV and modern safe. All amenities were available. A Cosy bathroom. Good breakfast is offered. The hotel doesn’t serve dinner and I needed to choose one of the two adjacent restaurants, one Italian and one Greek. The hotel is located on a very wide avenue. And reachable with public transport."

"I was originally booked for 2 nights and I as placed in room 420,basicly in the attic and had a set of stairs to go up, elevators only up to 3rd floor - I was not informed of it. The A/C was not working and temperatures in Munich was about 33C degrees. I was told that it would be reset but it didn't work. It was unberable. The elevator stopped working too. I had to extend my stay by 1 night and was placed on a much better room with working AC. That made such a difference. Rooms on the 4th floor are not suitable for people to stop if the heating or cooling conditions are not adjusted for an attic. The other down to the hotel is not to have food available for consuption. It was not informed on the website."

"While my experience with the cleanliness of the room and the efficiency and politeness of the reception staff was pleasant, I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with the undisclosed 20 euro charge on my credit card. It appears that this charge was due to my consumption of a water bottle provided in the room, which I find to be an exorbitant cost for such a simple amenity. While I would have been fine with paying an already high amount of for example 5 euros, this charge is unacceptable. The lack of communication regarding this charge has only served to exacerbate my frustration."

"I had a nice holiday there, but there was a lot of problems that have been put under the carpet as the window's store of the bathroom which was broken for the entire holiday. The adjacency of the bathroom isn't adequate for a 3 stars hotel : the mirror isn't in front of the sink but on the other wall (not even the same wall), the sink is in front of the window (like do you want to se me getting ready in the morning ?). The rest was fine, only the bathroom was a disgrace. The receptionists I've had were excellent !"

"Lovely hotel near the city centre and in close proximity to the Olympia Park. Rear view room is very quiet. Comfortable bed, tea/coffee station in the room. "Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast. Tram stop with frequent service is close to the hotel. Cons: The card key was not working well even after changed a card, it takes several retry to open the door. Noise from neighbor can be heard unless he moves with careful. There is no dedicated parking lot, only a permission to park roadside is provided. Overall it was okay for me just a night, but I don't want to stay longer until these points are not improved."
