"When we arrived on the 13th December 2024 my husband was very unwell and the Manager arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel to see my husband. Turned out he had pneumonia and instead of staying 4 nights we stayed 8 nights and the staff could not have been more helpful and very friendly."

"Check in was easy with friendly. helpful staff. Our room was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The only complaint was the temperature of the room. I know that central European temperatures can be very low but I found it difficult to lower the temperature in the room using the air conditioning unit. Lovely shower and and a complementary mini bar. Close to the main station and within walking distance to the Christmas markets. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Check out was speedy. A very good choice of hotel for vists to Munich."

"Recently spent two nights at the Merucre Munich City Centre. The hotel's location was great with alot of public transport options located within a walking distance. It is also located next to the main train station. There were plenty of restaurants around the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The drinks from the minibar were also complementary, which is a great touch. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a decent variety of dishes. The staff was friendly which made the stay even more comfortable. "This hotel is a short walk from the train station, perfect for Munich layovers. Even though it was a busy Sunday morning the clerk at the front desk (so sorry I didn’t catch her name) went out of her way to find me a room so I could check in early (after an overnight transatlantic flight, this was much appreciated). Hotel was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!"

"Perfection in every aspect. Well… Ok, there was just one employee in the breakfast who was super bad humored, impatient and impolite, but since everything else was so great, in my view, it does not ruin the experience. Highlights: the huge room, the amazing view from the huge balcony, the super heating system, the great shower, the free mini bar replaced every day, the abundant and delicious breakfast, 99% of the staff giving good vibes, the great location… everything superb! That is always going to be my place in Munich :) Special thanks: to the empathic, good hearted blonde girl from the breakfast entrance (the one that takes the room numbers), huge thanks from the sick (now healed) me; to the super loving blonde girl from the reception (saved my train trip, thanks!); And a memorable note to the diamond of the hotel, the incredible vibe, all smiles blond girl serving the tables from the restaurant during night and cleaning the tables from the breakfast the day before… I remembered her just by the amazing energy and smiles! She is definitively a keeper Mercury! Ps to the mercure Munich managers: talk to the blond girl cleaning the tables in the breakfast area (not the diamond one), she desperately needs some vacation to rest."

"We stayed at Mercure Muenchen City Center for 7 nights. The room was a 2 story room and we loved it. The hotel was easy to find from the Central Train Station. It is about a 3-4 minute walk. There were always people walking down the street, but that is how you get around. We always felt safe. We did not have any issues with noise from the train station or anything else. The temperature was in the mid 40's so we did not have the windows opened. We never had to operate the heat. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had our breakfast included which was very convenient. There was a good variety of food. Eggs, bacon, different sausages, fruits, breads, meat & cheeses...plus more. It is about 4-5 blocks from Center City. There is a Lidl's at the end of the street for shopping, and small restaurants near. We spent most of our time walking around Center City. Overall i thought this was a great place to stay."

"The hotel is close to the Central station, so it's easy to get there from the airport, for example. The room was warm, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great and whenever we needed something, we were helped. A bathtub would have been nice, but I am not sure if they are that popular anymore. Slight minus from wall-to-wall carpeting and very slippery sheets, which did not want to stay put all night!"

"Well located, very close to Munich train station and old town. The room was spacious and very comfortable. A special feature is the welcome free minibar. A small drawback is that the glass door to the shower does not completely prevent water from splashing out. The staff is enthusiastic and wonderful. Breakfast is rich and delicious. "When we got to our room we had been upgraded for my partners birthday to a room with a balcony. The hotel had also left out a birthday cake and complimentary wine which was a fab touch. "The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and the staff was accommodating. However, our room was right near the dumpster and ALL night we heard bottles and garbage being taken out and tossed in the trash. It was disruptive of everyone's sleep and we were grateful we only booked for one night. Just recommend a street view room and you can avoid this issue."
