"I don’t see why you provided a baby cot bed for my 11-yo girl. That came as a surprise and as a joke. I was asked to pay for my girl’s stay as the hotel would have to provide an extra bed and it turned out to be a cot bed. So cute."

"The hotel is located just a 15 min walk from Marienplatz and 7-8 min walk from the Central Station which makes it super convenient. Breakfast is great. Staff is nice. Could be cleaner though. One of the towels in our room was heavily stained all over with something like hair dye. I mean huge dark stains. I wonder what they were thinking when they hung it with the clean towels. Some stained glasses in the breakfast restaurant too."

"Room was large which was great for 3 of us. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The only thing I was disappointed in was the very hard uncomfortable sofa bed, other than that the room was well appointed. The free mini bar was a really nice touch thank you."

""Upgrade" to a privilege room was nothing but a free bar. I had to ask for slippers, robe and additional bathroom products, which were supposed to be stocked in a privilege room without a request and is advertised on a hotel page. When I asked, I was made to feel like I was asking "too much". For the first time in a long time staying at Accor property (and that's including Ibis brand) there was no welcome gift in the room. Just wanted to mention in case any other elite members read this review. On the other hand, daily cleaning was great, no issues. The room itself is mostly very good, spacious. A second door helps to reduce the noise which comes from a hallway. An AC is very noisy, so after my first night I used an open window instead."

"At arrival to our room we realized that there is no electricity, but it was immediately taken care of once I went down to the lobby. Second day to our biggest surprise, There were drops of blood on all the sheets. I went to the lobby with images of the problem and immediately the personnel were sent to change all the sheets on the room. Another problem was the smell from the blackhead of the bed. It smelled like tarp left under the sun. The smell was very strong so I had to buy a fabreeze product and spray it in the room to reduce the strong smell. So an adventure for sure. I never had so many problems all at once at one hotel. But I can say that the staff was extremely helpful and very nice and welcoming and act immediately to take care of the problems."

"I stayed 7 nights. Chose it mainly for ease of location for day trips by train. Have previously stayed and Hilton Park and Hilton City and Sofitel. I preferred the Hiltons and the Sofitel. To be fair they are in a different class. Service was friendly, food was good and had no issues with room servicing. The big negative was noise. I have always lived downtown in large cities, I am used to urban noise. This was different. There was construction noise during the day which I would have appreciated knowing about beforehand. This was not the main problem though. There was very loud noise in the courtyard every night that went on a long time. Sounded like glass rattling and breaking? That is the best description I can give. It's too bad because the service was good but sleep was challenging."

"The duty personnel for the night shift is only 2 - 3 person serving the whole hotel. The sink in my room was choke it's unable to use, we need to bear with it for 1 night and wait till the next morning then the engineer can come up to repair. Room is average size, only is the staff is not rather friendly. They wouldn't go to the extra mile to help."

"I have just returned from Munich, where I stayed in Mercure City Centre hotel. Let me share my 100% satisfaction - I really like this hotel and got the best experience there. This hotel has very good location, just 3 minutes walk from Munich HbF railway station and 15 minutes walk to Marienplatcz. The breakfast here is pretty good. Very friendly stuff provided us an upgrade and late check-out, according to my Platinum status in the All Accor program, and I appreciate it."

"The hotel is located close to the main train station and very close to one of the main gates of the Old City. We enjoyed the comfort and familiarity of staying at Mercure, while also being able to enjoy the uniqueness of this hotel. We stayed in a family room which was generous in size, even outside of European standards. The room provided a free mini bar with access to still and mineral water, sodas, juices, chocolate and nuts, along with some local beer. There was a door separating the main sleeping space and bathroom, to really give your family space if needing to change, pack or just relax! The hotel staff was very attentive and professionally. They graciously assistted with any request and were knowledgable of the area. We could not be more satisfied to stay here for our short visit to Munich!"
