"Good location. Comfortable room. Breakfast was superb. Friendly and helpful staff. Less positive points- the fridge was not plugged in in my room- the lead was too short. The receptionist did sort this out quickly with an extension lead but only after asking if I needed a fridge- yes, it’s 36 degrees. The fridge and toilet had some black mould. The shower took something like 10 minutes for hot water to start."

"We stay in Flemings since many years . We miss some things at the Breakfast . The Renovation in Rooms and Floors are terrible . It looks like a bad Youth Hostel . "I booked this hotel because it was recommended by my employer. The first two nights I paid myself because my family came to stay with me. I advised the hotel that there would be 2 adults and 1 child (12 years old) staying in the room and the response was that "there would be enough room for everyone". We arrived at 11 p.m. and the room was large but only two beds, no spare sofa, blankets or covers. Reception team could not help with additional blanket/ matress as they said the housekeeping team already left for the day. There was no spare room they could offer either. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor, on my blanket and my pillow. I had the mattress on the bed at least whilst my daughter had the other bed. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before, especially given that I advised that there would be 2 adults and a teenager in the room in MARCH and we came to stay at the end of June. On the second night, after speaking with the reception again, the housekeeping brought us another mattress, blanket and a pillow. Secondly, it was very odd to discover that on Sunday and Monday night , the bar was closed. The hotel was full with people coming to the conference; it was very hot (+36 in Munich) and it would have been lovely to sit in the garden with a cocktail but it looks like there is no interest in generating extra bar revenue. Overall, it was a very odd experience. It would also be good to add international TV channels and make a/c colder."

"I was expecting more and left disappointed with my stay. Particularly given the price, if I had seen the room beforehand, I likely wouldn't have booked it. My first impression was also somewhat confusing. Walking into a hotel with an unmanned reception desk and self-service kiosks felt strange, and it wasn't immediately clear what I was supposed to do. While I was ultimately assisted by staff, which I appreciated, the arrival experience still felt unusual and somewhat impersonal. I'm also surprised there weren't automatic doors at the entrance, which I thought were standard for hotels, given that you may be carrying heavy luggage. The room felt lacking in character and didn't reflect the ambiance portrayed in the online photos. The pillow selection form provided in the room was dirty on arrival. Having stayed in a number of hotels over the past few weeks, the absence of a mini fridge, modern air-conditioning system, pens and paper, a bin in the main room, and other amenities commonly found even in budget hotels was noticeable. While I appreciate the hotel's commitment to sustainability, the paper cups at the coffee station looked and felt cheap. Only a single milk portion was provided, and the kettle took around 15 minutes to heat up. Several lights and powerpoints in the room were not working, and the TV's streaming service was unavailable throughout my stay. In the bathroom, while I appreciated the MALIN+GOETZ amenities, it was strange that conditioner was not provided. The space itself was very small and cramped, with almost no shelf or storage space. The tissue box was nearly empty upon arrival, and the hairdryer was outdated and underpowered, performing more like a hand dryer. It also lacked a cool-air setting, which is a standard feature in most modern hairdryers. The shower was one of the most frustrating aspects of the room. Water leaks into the bathroom unless the doors are closed immediately, yet when open, the doors take up much of the already limited space. The controls were unnecessarily complicated, with multiple handles that made the shower confusing to operate. Despite being quite small, I found the shower extremely cramped, made worse by the oversized fixtures protruding into the space. This was particularly uncomfortable because the exposed pipes become extremely hot. Given how little room there was to move, I repeatedly brushed against them while showering."

"You should consider waving your parking fee for guest that opt for breakfast. I also suggest removing the in room coffee, which will produce a savings for you (removing the cost of makers and supplies) and provide free coffee to your guest in the lobby. Additionally add a premade sandwich and fruit kiosk adjacent to your coffee station. The coffee is the draw and the additional sales of sandwiches and healthy alternatives to go will increase your sales in addition to your existing breakfast program. Overall rating of good."

"The positives are the staff, who are lovely and helpful, and the location is good - it's in a nice area and has easy transport links to the rest of the city. It's not the easiest to reach from the airport by public transport (takes around 1 hour at least). The room had a good TV that allowed streaming. Wifi was quite fast. The negatives: my room was very dark (had no proper lighting, only some dim lamps), the room was VERY dusty, the bathroom was dirty - the sink had not been cleaned, there were dirty marks on the wall near the toilet, and everything was very tired and shabby. The bed was clearly very old, the mattress was super soft and saggy in the middle, and the single pillow was small and thin. The sheets had been washed but were covered in small stains. Housekeeping is only every other day, which is fine, except that they don't seem to do anything...my toilet was not cleaned, the room was still super dusty, and the sheets on the bed were not changed. The person who was doing the housekeeping was also very rude to me on the day of checkout, knocking on my door several times asking me to leave (long before the checkout time). The air conditioning worked, but was very loud and you could see the dust blowing out of the vent. The hotel is not expensive, but even for a cheap hotel, you should expect a clean room with a comfortable bed."

"I'm a no frills 64 year old American male, who has semi-retired, and found that I love going to foreign countries, and discovering how to get around a city on my own. I'd never been to Germany, and Flemings looked like my kind of hotel, far enough from the city to avoid a big expense, but close enough that I could walk into town and see everything. Two days in, I discovered the subway, about three blocks from the hotel, which was perfect. The two amenities I list when I search for a room are free WIFI, and a sauna, and Flemings has both. The sauna was great. Fortunately, I'd bought a power converter, for my US chargers, laptop, battery charger, etc., which you will need at Flemings, as they have the standard German "two hole" plugs. I found the same thing in my Nuremburg hotel, too, though, so it must be common. (Thailand and Columbia use universal outlets, for the most part, but I assumed a lot of European countries have their own outlets.) Excellent, clean, environmentally conscious hotel. Efficient, attentive receptionists. Great value. MD Panama City, Florida USA"

"I like the location of the hotel, I like the breakfast, all clean, rooms are good. I dislike: during my last stay, when I took a shower in the morning, insufficient power of water, and temperature could not be regulated, was not stabile. I told reception the issue, answer: our technician is on vacation. After back and forth, we agreed that they will search for another room until evening. In the evening no room identified, I should ask next morning. Also I got the comment, there are many hotel guests currently, fully booked, this could be a reason for the issue with the shower. Honestly, I was in many hotel during my business stay, cannot remember that I had such an issue, and I am not too picky. Next morning: had the same issue with the shower again, at the reception, the person told me that he will search now for a room. We agreed: I will go for work, and when I come back, I have another room. And this was then the case, had a room in the gardenhouse. Gardenhouse, 2nd floor. Actually i would like to have for next stay in May a room in the main house again."

"Mixed bag. Location is good and gives easy (walking) access into town. Downside is being on a v busy road which means opening the bedroom window is not an option and unfortunately that's an issue because the rooms are so hot. Rooms maybe OK for single occupancy or a couple but wouldn't work for anyone else unless you want to see your room mate on the toilet or in the shower. The lack of privacy is laughable. Check in is done via computer with little / no human interaction. Reception staff are largely invisible. Timo from the bar was excellent value - great service, friendly and really made an effort. Felt like a budget hotel but at a non budget price."

"This is a lovely hotel in a fairly quiet and safe area of Munich but within 5 minutes walk of a U Bahn station and with a tram stop literally just outside. My suite was really comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel staff couldn't have been kinder or more friendly - they really made me feel comfortable and at home. "I really liked the stay. The lobby and breakfast area are nicely decorated. The facilities available in the room were nice. The soap's smell was a little intense. Also, I missed a power socket beside the bed, in addition to the one for the lamp. But these are minor points. But one thing that could really be improved is the wall images. I was in room 320. The picture freaked me out so much that I took it down during my stay. And I think this isn't just my unpopular opinion, since my colleagues agreed it was quite weird ;) The gym was nice and had enough equipment for solid training. Also, I really appreciated the 24h access! However, the equipment was not the cleanest. This is something that could be improved in the future. Aside from these comments, I really enjoyed the stay. The check-in and check-out were easy and comfortable. The service was very kind and welcoming. Thank you for that!"

"I was on a business trip in Munich and stayed 4 nights from Monday until Friday. The hotel itself was good value for money. For me it is of utmost importance to emphasize the human factor within my stay. First of all the kind, respectful and extraordinary service Mr. Timo (Egyptian/French) at the Hotel bar/ provided was really outstanding and memorable. A colleague of mine had her birthday during our stay and he prepared as a surprise balloons, incents, cake and a warm and welcoming attitude! Thank you so much! "It felt weird going into reception and just walking up to the kiosk. The elevator doors shut really aggressively and it was confusing trying to go to floor four from floor two when we wanted to see our friend. Our bathroom was too small to do anything and everything leaked. If towel so big why bathroom so small. "Family of 4 needed to stay close to the city center. Room had enough space for a Family of four. The room was clean, bathroom in good conditions. Location is great, and as long as the windows stay closed it's quite, but when you sleep with windows open, make sure you have ear plugs. The room fridge wasn't cooling properly. Use the hotel's parking garage, the garages around cost twice the price for 24 hrs. The employees at the reception were friendly and helpful. Fitness room has all what you need for a quick workout. The breakfast looked good, and offered the typical Munich Weisswurst Frühstück. I recommend the hotel."

"This is not a positive review. I booked and paid in advance for two rooms for two nights: one room would be occupied by me, arriving from Milan, and the other by a friend of mine arriving from Bologna. On the day of departure, Air Dolomiti called a strike and my friend's flight from Bologna was cancelled. I immediately asked for a refund, at least partial, for the unoccupied room, given the force majeure. The management was adamant: NO. I also asked to stay an extra night at the hotel and to deduct at least one night from the amount I had already paid for the unoccupied room, but the management was inflexible: NO. I would like to point out that the strike in Bologna was called for a noble cause: peace in Palestine!!!! But obviously the hotel was not interested in that. Obviously, I went to another hotel for the third night in Monaco."
