From the airport:
Take the Lufthansa Airport shuttle Munich Schwabing / railway station to "Schwabing North Cemetery". Go here to the U6 direction "Klinikum Grosshadern" - go one stop to "Dientlindenstrasse". Take the exit "Potsdamer Strasse". The hotel is located a few meters further on the Potsdamer Strasse on the right side.

From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof München):
From the main station any S-Bahn ride to Marienplatz. Change into the U6 direction "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Get off at the stop "Dietlindenstrasse" from (output Potsdamer Strasse). The hotel is located a few meters further on the Potsdamer Strasse on the right side.

"We booked a room for 3 adults. The size of these rooms is too small. Our room smelled like cigarettes, disgusting. We did get 2 other rooms, a single and a very big double room. The single room also smelled like cigarettes but not as bad as the previous one. The bathroom of the single room was tiny."

"I stayed here 3 years ago and was very impressed so stayed again. The room was all new this time with clean floors, very comfortable bed and bathroom. The windows are new also. I could open the window which I appreciate. I would just say that I think reception should mention how to turn on lights as I had no idea how to do that."

"The location and hotel staff are helpful and great! However, one of the sinks in my bathroom was leaking and the refrigerator was not working properly. I tried to use the coffee machine, did not work... We ate at the breakfast buffet, the food was terrible. Needs a lot of improvement."

"My daughter and I spent several nights in the Munich Schwabing location. We were generally happy with our choice. Location (easy walk to Münchner Freiheit and public transit) and breakfast were great. The room was small but had two balconies which was helpful for fresh air. There is some construction nearby which made for some noisy mornings but that's certainly not within Flemings control. The minimalist service of the Flemings business model took a little getting used to. There is no reception desk to ask questions or report that the coffee maker in the room didn't work, for example. Room service is every other day (no problem with that). Overall I'd say good value for being right in one of the most upscale neighborhoods of Munich but not a luxury experience."

"to be very honest, I would have forgotten to send you a feedback although I was really unhappy. I came in the morning of my arrival day to let my luggage at the reception. The room was not yet available. My luggage was stored. I asked for a quiet room because I an injured and have problems to find sleep. I was told the reception is open 24/24. As I arrived in the evening, no one was here. Doing the checkin at the machine I git a very noisy room and the worst was that my luggage was in the front of the reception room, unattended and open to everyone coming into the hotel. I was really upset. Someone (while leaving the reception) should have brought the luggage into my room. It was my second time at your hotel but after this experience I don't want to come back."

"I was on a business travel with my stay being booked by American Express GBT travel agency. Amex GBT has already settled for my stay at the hotel, so I expected a smooth check-in process. However still, I had to populate few forms on a self-service check-in screen (my personal data, personal address, company data, etc) to finally land at a screen where I was told to pay for the stay, whereas it was already settled... That was quite surprising, as all the data needed were already provided to the hotel and it would be sufficient if the hotel staff just confirmed my identity to hand me the room key. I would kindly recommend you revisiting the self-service check-in process, especially in case of hotel reservations being paid upfront."

"The self check-in was laborous as I had to manually enter all the information on a touchscreen. It would have been easier to provide this information online in advance. I would have asked for more information about the breakfast before purchasing it, but there was no one behind the desk. Next morning, I found out that the breakfast was quite modest to begin with and did not include many vegan options. It was definitely not worth 18 euros. I was very disappointed."

"The room itself was fine, the air conditioning doesn’t work that well and the power won’t work unless you insert the keycard into the wall (which they don’t tell you). My biggest issue was that my flight was canceled and rebooked to the next day, which was completely out of my control, but the hotel charged me an extra $100 for not showing up on my first night when I physically wasn’t even in the country yet."

"Location is good, a short walk to U-bahn and more attractive streets of Schwabing. The road is busy so you can’t sleep with your window open. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room has a reasonable size, bed is comfortable, bathroom is open which is ok if you are with family or loved ones, for friends or colleagues not because there is no privacy. The hotel rooms are noisy, can hear everyone in the hallway. Breakfast is ok, not great, bread is a bit chewy and there are no eggs. For almost €700 for 3 nights I expected more, if you have a better deal I recommend to stay here."

"We enjoyed our short stay at Flemmings. The English Garden and subway stops were a short walk away. Breakfast at the hotel had numerous choices, including fresh fruits, breads, meats and cheeses and eggs upon request. Most notable was the friendly and professional staff - efficient but very approachable. We had plenty of space in our room, which was very clean. We did struggle a bit to keep the room cool enough - but even with the windows open at night it was quiet until the early morning. We would definitely stay here again in the future."

"The hotel is OK, the locations is nice. Everything is clean, but for the price of room of 380 EUR per day (Bauma special price), at least the closet should have enough space to hang shirts for 7 days, there is no room to place your jacket either so I had to throw everything on the 1 available chair. The lighting in the room is scarce and there is no fridge. Also, SPA was closed, I didn't ask about it, maybe it was possible to get the key so that one is on me. Parking is on some kind of ramps that are fit tightly together so that is inconvenient too. Pricing should be around 50 EUR per day, no more."

"Personal speaks in other languages than German or English to each other. A very uncomfortable feeling as if they are talking about you. Reception seldomly employees present. Coffee bar no personal. "Only the checkin procedure, which is a bit cumbersome (self-checkin) due to lots of typing pulls down the overall score a bit. "Again, VPN did not work, needed to use mobile hotspot. Check-in PAIN full as no person to do and if self serve it should be able to scan information from passport or ID, or transfer from booking.com or at least provide a NORMAL keyboard. But typing on the screen is PAINFUL and much slower than doing it normal with receptionist and keyboard. Dirt on head cushion over the bad was not nice."

"Good and partially renovated rooms, services are satisfactory and the personnel really helpful and kind. However, checking in was a nightmare of a long queue (about 30' waiting to check-in in the automatic screens, only one employee available, at a super slow pace). Breakfast during weekend was a mess, people standing desperately arounf the breakfast hall looking for a free table and then waiting exhausted in a long never-ending queue to get coffee from the one and only coffee machine. Breakfast in time slots would be more efficient than having hotel guests swearing for not finding a table..."

"Only after I asked 3 times to replenish the shampoo and paper tissues, they were replenished (after 3 days). The room was very dirty (dust everywhere) and very dark. No water. Towels were not changed during 3 days. I asked reception 3 times and only after that the towels were changed. The advertized calm-down set was not available. The water pressure was very poor. And the coffee machine didn't work (I informed the reception but they didn't bother to have it fixed)"

"The only positive aspect of our stay was the distance to the Tantris Restaurant. The baggage had to be carried to the 2nd floor in the garden house, as no elevator was there. Entering the room, the toilet was dirty and used, not even the closet button had been pressed! A used pillow cover was on the floor. The window was dirty, the curtains were not fixed properly, the air facility in the bathroom has not been cleaned for a long time. The service was informed, but could/would not help."

"Lighting conditions in room 127 are an absolute joke. Arriving late after dawn left me feeing somewhat disoriented upon entering room as the "main light" is one single, dim "spotlight". Access to additional (unsatisfactory) lighting is only possible from the window-side of the bed. The whole room is too dark and the only light source that provides enough illumination is the bathroom light. Please install additional lighting and make them available/controllable from light switches located right at the room entrance (instead I had to use my phone's flashlight to orient myself and find additional switches in the room)"

"I stayed at the hotel previously but this time I was underwhelmed. The room was small, there were no pictures on the wall and the floor was tiled - this made for a very sterile feeling. I had a tiny bathroom with little room to even use a bath towel after the shower, very little shower water pressure and almost no water pressure at the sink - it literally took about 20 seconds to fill a glass for brushing the teeth. This was no 4* experience! On the plus side: The bed was OK if a little hard for my taste and the breakfast (at extra cost) was good."

Sell-servie software did not work well and the people spent a lot of time for the check in and they needed the assistant of the employee. "I usually don’t complain, but your customer service was so poor that I have to make an exception. I stayed at your hotel for one night during a business trip. While the overall facility is quite pleasant, I must highlight the complete incompetence and lack of professionalism of your staff. My company had already paid for one night + breakfast, but upon our arrival, the receptionist held us hostage for a good half hour, insisting we pay for the room again, even though we provided a receipt. This was not only unpleasant but also a significant waste of our time. We were in Munich for business, and this delay caused us to be late for a meeting. The most annoying incident occurred the next morning at breakfast. The night shift employee informed me that breakfast was available until 11:00 AM, information that was not provided at check-in due to the staff’s lack of professionalism. We arrived for breakfast at 10:10 AM and we discovered that breakfast was until 10:00 AM. The morning shift employee rudely told us that the night shift colleague must have been too tired and so he gave us incorrect information. This is unacceptable. We were rudely turned away and had to go to an external café and pay for breakfast. I will certainly advise clients and colleagues against staying at your hotel. Such a TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and inability to manage customers. We were left shocked."

"When we got to our room, the first thing we noticed was that it looked a bit outdated. We then saw that there was vomit splattered around the toilet that wasn't cleaned properly. We brought this up downstairs and they sent someone up to clean it. We then also found a bug under our comforter the second night which made us not sleep well. When we went to report this early in the morning before we had to catch our train there was no one around. Please let us know if you need supporting pictures."

"I have stayed several times at Flemings Schwabing since 2009. The hotel has declined. My room as not cleaned on September 24 though I put "Make My Room" sign. Sauna was not working. No water fountain in the Gym. Very unattentive and unfriendly breakfast. Largely overpriced."
