"Hotel staff were very helpful throughout my stay and were able to provide directions and recommendations as needed. But the room was very dusty on walls, doors, furniture, etc. There were also random stains on curtains and walls. The room didn't feel clean. Also didn't like there was no luggage rack or table big enough for luggage. And the blanket on the bed was so small. The bed itself was about a foot wider than the blanket. How does that make sense. I stayed in room 211 which is at the end of a long hallway. The hallway lights are motion activated so walking from elevator to room is fine but opening my room into a very dark hallway to leave was a bit disconcerting."

"It was okay, but there were some issues. There was a constant air conditioning noise in both the room and the bathroom’s ventilation. "Clean room, air con didn't really work but too noisy to open the windows. Windows were very good at insulating out the sound of the road. Double bed is 2 singles pushed together with no binder or mattress cover so very obviously 2 singles. Not helped by them being slightly different heights. Duvet was too warm for the weak air con. Pillows were non existent. Put in a disabled room because the hotel was full - bathroom great, unclear how a person in a wheelchair would get around the rest of the room because it's so tight."

"The room that has been given to me was not the room that I booked and paid for. I booked a double room with a queen size bed and it was a small bed for only one person with a little tiny cover. I explained the situation at one of you at the reception and received the following answer: « as the hotel was full and I was alone, I was not given the expected room but a smaller one for you to be able to give two persons a double room, the manager knows it and this situation happens sometimes ». In addition to that it really seems like the room had not been used and cleaned for quite a long time because I found a lot of dust and dirty areas/things in the room. You will find below several pictures of the room showing: - the weird and dry liquid on the bottle of water - the yellow edges of the chair - the black marks on the curtain - the dust on the kettle and the tea tray - the marks on the mirror - the marks on the soap dish - the dirty shower grout - the holes on the little tiny blanket - the small bed - the dirt of the toilet push button."

"Location was not too bad, 15 min walk from the underground, however not much else open nearby and very quiet. The room was quite small for a twin. Two people means two suitcases and we both could not have our suitcases open at the same time. Beds needed extra pillows and another blanket to be comfortable. Water in room was free so a bonus. People at front desk were ok, but not super friendly. Overpriced but sufficient."

"I booked a "Deluxe room with double bed, courtyard", advocated as "More space to relax! Enjoy these spacious rooms, quietly located facing the courtyard. Free bottle of water on arrival, high quality beds, 32 inch flat screen TV, safe, shower and free wi-fi." Since the space was divided over two floors, it did not feel spacious at all. The bed was put away in a corner on the higher floor, just below the roof. On the sixth floor, "facing the courtyard" does not mean anything, as you do not experience a courtyard. I did not see one. The room was quite hot being just below the roof. I did not see airconditioning. I used the parking garage, which is so very narrow, that it took a long time to park the car. Once parked, I had to leave the car on the passenger side, as on the driver side there was no room to open the door. I would not book here again."

"I stayed here for 3 nights and generally enjoyed my stay (quiet room facing the courtyard, possibility to open the windows, clean room, plenty of outlets for charging devices, great location/ short walk to Münchner Freiheit underground station). I also really liked that there was more than one towel even though I had booked the room for one person only and there was a free bottle of sparkling water and coffee/ tea (kettle). Main points of criticism are that the WiFi was either extremely spotty or didn't work at all (i.e. I had to mostly use roaming to connect) and that the water pressure in the shower could have been stronger. Other than that, I would stay here again (decent value for money)."

"Hotel clean and well kept. 1st Room ( standard ) was on the first floor right above reception and a garage door to the hotel parking . Noise of the garage door opening and closing at all times of the day and night kept waking me up during the night , along with the noise of the traffic of the busy road outside the hotel . After 3 nights of not sleeping well, I asked to be moved to a higher floor . The reception staff were very helpful and I was able to move to a room that was garden facing. The last two night of my stay were much better and the room was quiet. The breakfast had plenty of choice for all nationalities . The restaurant staff were very welcoming ."

"Very good stay, well located , really convenient for tourism, However: First good surprise was to have little personal card in room with one muffin, however adressed to …. another person… and we were two…. Little disappointing . Room space sufficient for two persons. Bed quality is good. Bathroom is modern and well equipped. No kettle. Just Nespresso coffee machine which I really appreciated but which makes tea lovers really frustrated. I guess it could be asked from reception but we did not. Should be in room by default . Parking lots extremely narrow. Cannot open doors when between cars or near to wall. Risk of damaging cars is high. Had to leave car by passager door. Service cleaning staff either not coming during whole day (had to ask at 16:30 (Sunday 26 may) for room to be cleaned which really does not seemed to be a concern for duty manager, or showing off by 17:00 without knocking (25 may) Happened two consecutive first days out of 4 nights stays. Managers cooperation varies depending on the person . Had to struggle with Sunday duty manager to convince him it was abnormal not to have rooms cleaned by 16:30. Except from this, which turned into daily reminders not to forget to clean room before we were leaving in the morning , all was ok. Building Air conditioning was yet not switched on despite temperature started to rise , however it was still acceptable. As a conclusion: good hotel with potential for improvement."

"Room was good albeit a bit small, which was a surprise given that the costs were the same as during my last stay. As always, staff was excellent, very polite, friendly, welcoming, always ready to fulfill my needs. The only small thing I would suggest is to make sure that when a new guest comes into a room, that the bathroom supplies are not close to empty , e.g., shampoo, body wash, soap, so that one does not have to ask for a refill immediately, but has a couple of days of supply. That’d be more comforting, particularly if one would prefer to have the room not immediately serviced on the next day after arrival , but have a little bit of quiet time to get settled."

"I was deeply disappointed to arrive at the hotel to find that it is covered in scaffolding. "Don't worry", the front desk clerk told me, "the construction will be finished in 6 months." Not helpful when only staying for two nights. When a hotel is under construction, this should be CLEARLY noted ahead of booking. Whilst the scaffolding and ensuing works was not much of a nuisance, I was awoken every morning with knocking and scraping from what sounded like the room next door. The hotel feels old and worn out. The carpet in the room was visibly filthy and smelt of dust. The hotel provided a complimentary bottle of water and a welcome snack on arrival, which was a welcome touch, but then the plate and empty bottle bottle wasn't cleared for the duration of the stay. Unfortunately that was my first and last Mecure hotel stay. I think the Ibis offers substantially better value vs quality."

"Just a Classic member so no upgrade of room. Therefore the basic room; not expansive. Good double bed, very good amount of storage. Though a chair, small table and a stool; would not suggest a place to sit and relax for any length of period. Bathroom small, but very functional. Walk in shower was good for a couple ;-) Cant say the breakfast buffet was great - but please understand that is personal preference (but cant deny a good selection for those that enjoy a continental buffet) Conveniently located just 10min walk from 2 metro stations, with tram stops only moments away - therefore just a few min away from Munich centre without the hustle & bustle of the city centre Would i stay again; yes.. but only for 2 or 3 nights (our trip was for 3 nights) unless had booked a bigger room [if such is available]"
