"The room is small but sufficient for just one night. When I entered the room for the first time, it had an unpleasant smell of sweat. I went back to reception and asked to change rooms, but unfortunately there was no room free. So the person at reception rang the cleaning staff and asked them to use a scented spray in the room. That improved things. The internal sound insulation is very poor. The bed is soft and the mattress should have been replaced as it is sunken in the centre. There was mould in the bathroom, and its walls and ceiling were dirty, The location is good, far from the city centre but with easy access to public transport."

"I came for oktoberfest and this was one of the hotels still available. It's just 25 mins away from the fest and cheaper then other hotels. The facilities are great with modern bathrooms and rooms."

"Because of an error with a different hotel, we didnt have any accomodation for our concertweekend. Luckily München City Ost still had rooms! The rooms where clean, the bed slept great and the breakfast service was great. Very friendly employees!"

"We were placed in a handicap room. Were not provided enough towels, our room was dirty. The bottom of the shower curtain was stained with pink mold and our towels were old and dingy. I paid for the room and I slept on the small extra bed that was horrible! I could not sleep all night because the bed had hard metal and holes I could feel on my back which is still hurting from that night. It was €240 euros which seem excessive!!! Just an abuse. I hated this hotel and would never stay at a ibis again or tell my friends about it. We could not get a parking in the garage and left our car outside too and the staff was not nice to us. The front desk would not even help us pay for a water bottle and sent us to the bar. We waited about 20 minutes only to have the same guy come to the bar and charge us after the bar attendant asked him to because he was busy."

"The room was still dirty from the previous guest with tufts of hair, clasps and other dirt. It was not cleaned properly even after I reported it to reception. The breakfast was very bad, a few old bread rolls and bad sausage and cheese. No scrambled eggs or bacon, no different juices etc. Just cheap stuff and for that too expensive. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly either, nor were the glasses. Not nice."

"All very comfortable and neat, however your systems do not allow enough flexibility when it comes to the booking details: with the online reservation there was no option to book breakfast for an adult and a kid under 12; while on reception desk junior breakfast was twice cheaper. And hotel staff was not able to change the reservation in order to offer discounted rate. The same with not used for the second night breakfast: although it was not actually required, hotel was not able to refund"

"Unfortunately, I was waked up by the loud construction noise which was caused by the construction site just opposite to my room no. 113. The construction site is only 20m away of my windows. The works started at 8am and woke me up. I had conference call at 9am and the noisy sound affected my meeting when I needed to talk."

"I asked for breakfast and even if I paied they did not allow me to take the buffet breakfast, the offered me just the option for bread and coffee (the breakfast room was almost empty). I spent more than 15 min just to leave the key at the check out, even though everything was paied. The last day I asked for a quiet room/ space for a business call the lady told me we do not have a room and after 15 min they found a space with music. After many attempts they decide to switch off it. Finally I asked for a taxi they forgot to book in advance despite my request and I miss the train. When I complained the lady at the reception told me: thank you! People at the reception effectively are not understanding English and are arrogant and insolent."

"For work (and holiday of course) I spend many time in hotels. But also invite guests to hotels in my area. I found 180 Euro's per night not in line for the quality of the hotel. The staff by the way were very friendly, polite and helpfull. The rooms are clean for sure, but very old and not according to the minimal standard of 2023. Time stands still. This goes for the breakfast menu as well. This is not what I would expect nowadays."

"The hotel is conveniently located across the tram stations, and there is Kaufland just besides it. So groceries shopping is easy. The rooms are clean too. Downside is I was not allowed to get into the carpark until I am checked-in, and there is very limited space outside the hotel to temporarily stop the car for check-in. I was asked to move the car at twice during my wait to check-in. Worst still, it was raining heavily then, and I gotta run to my car. I do not know why I am not allowed to get the car into the carpark before I check-in."

"Room was way too hot to sleep in because the airconditioning didn’t work. Housekeeping showed up at 08:30 to clean the rooms on a Saturday while we where still getting ready. The room itself was very small but contained the bare necessities, too bad you could hear everything in the hallway and the neighbouring rooms. To finish things of, the first morning at 07:30 construction/maintenance was being done next to our window, the window that had to be open because of the heat."

"The hotel advertises air conditioning but when we stepped into our room, it was like a sauna. The front desk staff were overworked and therefore not very helpful. After two trips to the front desk (there are no phones in the room) they agreed to come and unlock the window. It was still too warm to sleep much, not now had a room full of cigarette smoke because everyone stepped out to smoke right under us. The room was small but cute but we would not stay again."
