"It was a very bad experience. The hotel is very old and when checking in they make you sign paper accepting fees in case of smoke... the whole hotel smells of cigarettes. AC is noise and the worst part is there was no breakfast on Feb 9th even if you were charged for that. The option the lady from the front desk gave me was to pick something and she would prepare it in the kitchen (wth????)."

"Very disappointed with how the hotel had handled smoke alarm incidents. Apparently this is not the first and definitely not the last time smoke alarm had been falsely triggered in this hotel. Multiple false triggering did not prompt and viable improvements or solution. Which meant guests will have to bear the full costs every time the alarm goes off (750euro). The suggestion to open windows and kitchen cooker extraction hood every time when you take a hot bath/ shower is ridiculous. Opening windows or turning on exhaust hood in kitchen meant this is a serious flaw in the air circulation. Imagine asking your guest to open the windows in winter when taking a hot shower. Therefore accor chain of hotels has lost my business and those of my associate's, as i have bear the full cost for their flawed air circulation, which I do not want others to fall into the same trap."

"We were satisfied with the size and setup of the apartment, the living room could be closed off to be a separate bedroom with privacy. Everything was clean, the bed and sofa bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was well-sized as well. Breakfast was expensive during weekends but it was good to have that option available if we couldn't go out for breakfast due to weather. The front desk staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend it."

"We have stayed in a number of Adagio aparthotels so have some grounds for comparison. From the moment we tried to enter the locked luggage door while Reception watched us stuggle, to check-in and eventually check out of this hotel, our experience left a lot to be desired. We had a one bedroom apartment that was degraded- a number of things did not work but the worst we discovered the following morning that the fridge had been turned off - to save power we were told by Reception. We were not advised of this on check-in anddid not notice when we arrived and put items in it having a very early start to the day and long journey. WE have never stayed anywhere where you need to turn the fridge on when you arrive. We tried to use the guest laundry and only one washing machine was working that got stuck on the spin cycle. The rooms are not serviced but when we asked Reception for tissues and clean towels she was very grumpy as though we were disturbing her peace.The place is very run down and does not meet Accor standards. The area is not the best - not that far from the old town but not the best part of town to be walking at night. There are lots of hotels and apartments in Central Munich and a better option would not be hard to find."

"The place are not too far from the main train station, we can reach in 6 minute walk. We could find many glocery store nearby. Although there was equipped kitchen but didn't have some important kitchenware in our room such as frying pan, flipper and knife. I saw evidence of previous misused plate instead of pan by someonr, may be because they could not find the trur frying pan. There was reception personel 24/7, so we could ask for kitchenware that missing and extra toilet paper. I think the good competition from other apartment is 24/7 reception."

"We loved our stay at the Adagio in Munich. The flat layout, rather than a hotel feel, was perfect with older boys with us. Five minutes to the main train station. Lovely couple of pubs just two minutes to your left as you leave at Theresienweise metro station."

"Very bad experience coming from All Accor which usually is my preference when booking a hotel. I booked an apartment hotel in Munich for two weeks and traveled with my wife and 1 year old baby. On arrival at night the woman at the front desk received us shouting and very rude. They gave us a room which was not what I booked without a double bed nor a crib for my baby. Also the kitchen in the apartment didn’t have any kitchen utensils. After complaining for a long time, they decided to change us to another room the next day. They only provided one cleaning per week and even so, they didn’t clean it properly that we had to call them back for a second cleaning. Overall, very bad customer service. Every time we approach the personnel, they replied very rude. I won’t book anymore from AllAccor nor recommend it to anyone."

"Located in a not-so-pleasant end of town, and the rooms are old and smelly. I presume the floors are not mopped after each guest as it felt sticky. We felt itchy sleeping in those beds and woke up with red marks on our backs. Luckily we only stayed for a night. I wouldn't recommend staying here."

"The bathroom was dirty. The room is TINY!!! The air conditioning didn’t work - we asked and they said technicians are on holidays so check in with them tomorrow . Still nothing so we asked for a fan, that was also a mission to get. We’re going to charge us an “early check in” fee - got questioned as we checked out. "It is my second stay in the property and I had the worst service ever! When I checked in , I was with a friend and 2 kids under the age of 6. I expected to be upgraded but since we understand since the property is full so it was inpossible. We decided to inspect the room first after checked in to a room. Then the reception sarcastacally said tgat “we will be catch by police if all of you stat ib the same roo “ We kept quiet. Being a gold member we understand the rules though we were shock by the threat! Then on the 2nd day, my friend and her kids decided to check out from the room. While I extended my stay. When I wanted to exted the lady receptionist said that “we are beyond full, we are minus 9” I told her that the room is available from the ALL apps. Then she replied it is impossible. When i booked and she received the code she couldnt say anything On the 3rd day when I wanted to request a late check out until 1 pm. She said it was impossible. I asked her to check first, she said that a gold member is normal, i should not ask for a privilege since there is a platinum member too. It was a shocking service, dont think I want to stay in the property ever again"

"Twice had surprise guest entering while i was staying in the room. One guest entered room while sleeping 12 am. Reception has said it was a mistake and thats all. Well, while sleeping with your wife and entering another man into bedroom is not acceptable mistake. Another guest entered during lunchtime. Reception was ok with it and blamed on the system. "Location is about 5 -10 mins walk to the Central Train Station. The lady at the reception was very helpful. The apartment is clean, a bit small for an apartment for 3 but functional. The only downside is that there is only one washer working and the dryer stopped before the time so we had to reload to complete the drying. After 2 hours, the clothes were still damp. We booked Adagio bec it had laundry facilities. So that was a bit of a downer as we spent all evening washing and drying clothes. Breakfast was good. Express checkout is also good."

"Our room at Adagio Aparthotel Munich was great value and overall very nice. The staff were absolutely excellent - so friendly and welcoming, giving us a welcome drink and chocolate with a nice chat when checking in. Location is very close to the Munich Hauptbanhof so it's convenient for train travel. Not too far to walk to the main sights either. Some minor things that would have improved our stay would be to provide a hair dryer in the bathroom, and improve the curtains - the main curtain did not even cover the whole window so it was very bright in thw morning. Also the kitchen was very nice but there were no bowls for cereal, no toaster, and they gave us 2 coffee pods to use with the machine but one had been clearly damaged and didn't work. Overall these things did not detract from our stay and I would recommend the hotel based on the great value for money and wonderful staff."

"I was hesitant staying with some of the recent reviews however was pleasantly surprised for the entire experience, from checkin to checkout. I paid for early check in when booking, on arrival even earlier the room was ready and checked in easily and straight away. Booked the 1 bed apartment, yes it’s small but it is Europe, yes it’s a little worn but it had a good (albeit tiny) kitchen, large fridge, bed was very comfortable, bathroom good size with great water pressure, felt very safe and cosey. Lounge area (sofa bed)can be blocked off from kitchen and made into separate room, so good for families with kids. Location is fantastic, walked daily everywhere including tourist sites, Lidl very close so we could buy some things to cook. Staff very friendly, no daily room service which is normal for this level hotel but what ever we needed we just got from reception very easily. If you are after an apartment with good facilities, great location and friendly service this is for you. If you are wanting luxury 5 star room service etc. pay the extra somewhere else. All in all, I would definitely stay again, great basic little city central apartment."

"I had a booking at another hotel of the Accor group (Ibis München City) which was 40% cheaper than this. Because I would be spending more time south of the station, I switched to this Adagio, and paid the option with breakfast included (it was more than €15 for that breakfast). The room itself was okay, but the breakfast was worse than a 1-star rating shared hostel. My first shock: no orange juice. Bottles were not available on the table, but instead hidden on the lowest drawer of the fridge (get it yourself!). Cold drinks were only 3: milk, mango juice and some other I didn't dare to try. Only two types of bread were available, one of cheese, one of salami, and another type of ham. No cornflakes either. Everything could fit on 2 VERY SMALL tables. I thought the Adagio brand was supposed to be superior to the Ibis. I I paid for more, but got a lot less."
